Stayed for 2 nights on the ground floor. As a solo traveller, felt very safe. Close to everything in Santa Teresa and a large supermarket across the road.
Not well soundproofed and could hear lots of noise upstairs - footsteps, toilet flushing etc. Could also hear traffic noise.

We loved our stay at Ventura. The staff & Roy are incredible and helped us throughout our stay whether it was for recommendations or getting us a ride to somewhere. Amazing time and we can’t wait to return.

We love Santa Teresa
We loved our time there. The people who work there are so helpful and friendly. We thought Kevin and David who both worked at the front desk exceptional. They went beyond their jobs and helped us with the area. The best restaurants were recommended by Kevin. Lydia also was fantastic with cleaning our apartment and getting things we needed. We loved our visit.

Fijn hotel in Santa Teresa
Superfijn hotel, ligt heel centraal. Houd er wel rekening mee dat de wegen hier best slecht zijn. De doorgaande weg is een en al hobbel en gaten. Maar de auto stond netjes geparkeerd. Hotelkamer was top en ruim.

Dieses Hotel (und das Restaurant im Hotel )war der absolute Höhepunkt unserer Costa Rica Reise! Das Personal war unglaublich nett und hat uns schon im Vorfeld unterstützt, da unsere Tochter uns überraschend besucht hat. Es wurde der Shuttle aus San José organisiert und das Zimmer noch extra getauscht damit wir genügend Platz hatten. Das Restaurant Aroma war nicht nur wegen seiner aussergewöhnlichen Speisen sehr gut sondern auch wegen dem unglaublich netten Kellner (Deiver)! Der nahegelegene Strand ist unglaublich schön und die Sonnenuntergänge wohl die schönsten der Welt.

This hotel generally gets good reviews but we were surprised and underwhelmed. Our biggest concern was the size - the rooms are very small, almost uncomfortable. It felt like we were staying in a college dorm room. It was very tight for two people, and certainly not romantic or comfortable for a couple’s stay. We did not enjoy sleeping in a bunk bed. With that said, the room was new, clean and had everything we needed. There’s also a restaurant on-site and a tiny pool. It’s basically like a hostel. Heads-up that’s its on the southern end of Santa Teresa and we felt a bit isolated. I might recommend looking for a place about a mile/km north, more towards the center. But there is a grocery store right across the street, and also laundry and a few coffee shops. It’s nice that this hotel is new, but again the rooms are very small and uncomfortable. I imagine it’s hard to find luxurious places in this small beach town without paying a fortune. If you’re looking for something nice, I would probably avoid Santa Teresa altogether.
