The Silo Hotel was our last stop after our safari in Botswana. What a fabulous way to end our vacation. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are stunning, and the entire staff could not be any nicer or more helpful. The restaurant and bar were great and the waterfront location can’t be beat. We travel a lot, and this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. If you’re going to Cape Town, we can’t recommend the Silo Hotel enough. Thank you to the entire staff, for making our stay so enjoyable.

We were between tours to Victoria Falls so we decided to upgrade a stay in Cape Town and go to The Silo Hotel. WOW!!! The room was a deluxe suite and amazing!! Outlets galore, heated floors, 2 zone air/heat, balcony amazing views and service. Roof top bar & pool, great restaurant and bar down below. Simply elegant yet very relaxed and I just can say enough about the service!!

I was blown away by the level of service here. The staff seem to have an almost magical ability to anticipate and fulfill your needs, often before you even realize you have them. They strike the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion, always available when you need them but never intrusive. It's this exceptional serv

Upon arrival at this establishment, I was immediately struck by its understated elegance. The lobby exuded a quiet sophistication that set the tone for our entire stay. Our room was a haven of tranquility, with views that inspired contemplation. The staff's professionalism was impeccable, yet warmth permeated every interaction. The culinary offerings were nothing short of sublime, each dish a testament to the chef's artistry. In summation, this hotel represents a harmonious blend of luxury and comfort that left a lasting impression.

Absolute perfection - from start to finish. Everything from the architectural marvel of the lantern windows, to the impeccable decor, to the warm and welcoming staff at every turn. We loved our stay so much and hope to return one day. One of our favorite hotels in the world.

We spent 3 nights here before embarking on safaris in South Africa and Botswana. Our first time in Cape Town and we were blown away by how beautiful and fun this city is. Our base was the Silo Hotel and it is a small, boutique hotel with a few rooms on 4 floors, which we loved. Every room has a floor to ceiling view of the harbor and Table Top Mountain...truly spectacular. The rooms were comfy and very luxurious, with decent space and a huge bathroom with heated everything. More snacks and treats than you could even eat, for free, in the mini bar. We actually ate in the restaurant several times (breakfast and dinner) and the food was excellent. There is a small gym, but it is totally adequate. There is a spa but we didn't have time to indulge...but if it is up to the rest of the hotel experience I am sure you cannot go wrong. Every member of the staff was friendly, energetic and on their game. Not a single thing to complain about. The hotel is pricey, and some friends said there are lower priced, nice options in Cape Town. I am not certain what they are but when we return we will for sure stay at the Silo Hotel again. Location is amazing and proximity to the harbor really make it a special spot. Pricey but worth it!!!

Price is really steep for South Africa, but I guess the market is willing to best the price. For a more budget friendly option in the Waterfront I recommend the Queen Victoria Hotel. Thar being said, we really liked the hotel and location. Rooms and of course views are amazing. Service was good if not very polished. Location is great and having stayed at the Cspe Grace previously would pick the Silo just for the views. We enjoyed walking around the waterfront and visiting the Museum of Modern Art Africa attached to the hotel. Splurge for one of the nicer rooms and request preferred view if that matters to you.
