We cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Carmichael. Yves and Valerie thought of everything to make our vacation memorable...from the outstanding gardens and pool, to the first-class accommodations and delicious homemade breakfasts, their personal attention and warmth can't be matched. We felt they truly were invested in our happiness. They are willing and able to arrange transportation as well, having a network of reliable drivers. Many thanks, Yves and Valerie!!

Very friendly place with excellent service from both the owners and the staff. Nice, very clean and spatious rooms! Very nice breakfast made on your own request. The location in the outskirts of Cape Town is not the best, though and a car is needed.

Lovely stay in Capetown.
Fantastic stay for a relaxed holliday with daily excursions arround Capetown.
We appreciated, the very nice hospitallity, breakfasts and also the house incl. areas for reading, sun tanning at the pool. High comfort beds!

Io e mio marito abbiamo scelto questa location per il nostro viaggio di nozze. Non potremmo aver fatto scelta migliore: la struttura dal fascino d’epoca è curata in ogni minimo dettaglio, la stanza era spaziosa e pulitissima e i proprietari davvero gentili. Uno dei posti migliori dove abbiamo mai soggiornato!

Sehr schönes Guesthouse. Es ist alles gut organisiert, sehr sauber und für südafrikanische Verhältnisse gut instand gehalten. Frühstück ist sehr gut mit guter Auswahl und guter Qualität. Der Garten ist sehr schön. Man fühlt sich hier „Safe“

I enjoyed every day in this place. I felt like at home. Cozy and very clean suites, tasty breakfast with croissants. Location is very close to the key points in the city The owners of the hotel are very friendly, they gave us recommendations on entertainments to make our time in Cape Town save and remarkable. Because of their advise we visited places we’ve never heard about I’m very happy that we chose this place
