1) The spa was dirty. There were dead cockroaches in the shower, dirty crockery on every surface, and the surfaces were sticky from spilled beverages. 2) The spa is tiny. The "tranquility room" consisted of 4 loungers facing each other. If you are alone, and there is a couple across you, it can feel very awkward. Especially if you're there for tranquility rather than socialising. The jacuzzi has a maximum occupancy of 1. The other jacuzzi was a bit bigger but was occupied by a couple making out with each other. The salt water pool is in a dark dinghy corner and can admit 2 people. The changing room is tiny and there are no actual seperate rooms to change in. It felt more like a tiny gym locker room than a spa. I walked in on someone with her bits and pieces out and about, and she and I were both startled. Not the spa for you, if you're not an exhibitionist. 3) The facilities are unisex, and the couples packages happen in the same area. If you're a solo female, be aware that there is a chance you could be surrounded by men. Or by couples who love a bit of PDA. 4) The treatment rooms are along the same corridor as the change room, and at the end of the corridor is the buffet. As a result, during your treatment, there is so much external noise from dishes clanging, people greeting each other, clients being thanked before they leave their rooms - everything is audible that it made it impossible to actually relax. Someone also thought it would be ok to knock at the door to ask the masseuse something in the middle of a treatment. Really ruined the massage. 5) No windows in the entire spa. The reason I booked at this spa is because of the rave reviews of the view. You can see NOTHING from the spa. It's small, dark, dinghy and windowless. Even cruise ship spas are bigger and better. In summary: Don't waste your money on this spa. There are many better alternatives.
