The service was amazing . We were treated like royalty, I couldn’t fault anything. The food, tea, champagne was so tasty! Everyone made it their business that I had the most amazing experience! Thank you 12 apostles ! From the driver who picked us up, the receptionists who popped champagne on arrival! I had a surprise guitarist playing happy birthday for me , all arranged by the hotel. Waiters during breakfast, my room was exceptionally decorated with more champagne and cake! Anyone celebrating a special occasion, please go!

We had the most amazing anniversary stay at the 12 Apostles Hotel for the night — quite possibly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The weather played ball, was absolutely perfect, and our sea-facing room was sunny and warm in mid winter Cape Town and offered spectacular views of the bay on a pristine, sunny afternoon. From our balcony, we could share a glass of bubbles absorbing the 360 degree views of the shimmering ocean but also the tranquil swimming pool and the 12 Apostles mountains as backdrop — pure magic. The room itself was stunning: beautifully appointed, and decorated, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. My partner, CariAnne, was completely blown away: full kudos , chapeau, credits (not sure that I will be able to lift the bar any higher in future). I’ve stayed in some really good , top hotels — in my previous business life: 12 Apostles easily matched / surpassed those experiences. One of the highlights was the breakfast: a luxurious spread featuring fresh oysters, champagne, smoked salmon, super crispy bacon, and every imaginable accompaniment for a truly indulgent start to the day. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were exceptionally attentive and warm, making us feel completely at home throughout our stay. We will definitely be booking again for next year. The 12 Apostles is a rare gem — world-class hospitality in a breathtaking setting.

The seafacing room was spacious and the staff were great. Fereka from front desk was exceptional with her excellent restaurant recommendations and went out of the way to help us get African avocado after she found out we loved it.

My bestie and I both had our birthdays in June, so we decided to celebrate it with a weekend away @ 12 Apostles thanks to her son Darryl for arranging the stay. We were met by the friendliest staff; everyone went out of their way to make us welcome and our stay memorable. We had the best fish at Cafe Grill. The Breakfast was outstanding; the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Especially Henry who came to warm our room and also bought us extra blankets. We loved the Spa and the Movies. Really the best birthday celebration ever...

Just a big thank you to all the staff and management of the 12 Apostles. Our 4 nights and days were absolutely amazing and will take good memories away. The room was amazing as well as all the restaurants. The Spa was also excellent…. Will definitely re visit in the future to celebrate a special occasion…. Warm regards Massimo

My review is on the spa only. Avoid this spa at all costs. It is totally dated and grimy. The “flotation tank” provides no flotation as the salts are not correct. It is meant to be a still, serene experience but it was way over-heated and agitated by the pump. The changing rooms cabinetry and finishes are just plain awful. It is hot and stuffy, with a strong odor of chlorine throughout. Fake plastics, no sunlight, or fresh air and grime around the pool. Stained towels on the floor exiting the flotation tank. Water is provided in jugs, the bottled water is locked away. Snacks are garage grade. Almost R200 for a glass of house wine, because it’s provided by a “separate” entity. We’ve stayed at the hotel and experienced two weddings there. But the spa is just plain yuck. We tipped the therapists well. It’s not their fault.
