Exceptional in every way . Elize is the most caring and wonderful host ever ! Would def be back next trip. The cleanliness, peacefulness, close proximity to all amenities. Can't ask for better ! Wifi is very good , parking on the premises ,beautiful linen and most comfy beds .

The ladies were great, fantastic breakfast and service. Very spacious room with a beautiful view of Cape Town. Very nice restaurant “Nelson’s Eye” is near by. Walking down is fun and coming back uphill was with Uber, approx 4Can$. Beautiful house and gorgeous garden.

We have been well received upon arrival. Nice secure parking spot for your rental car. Familiar atmosphere and open on all questions you may have to arrange exploring the neighborhood and city. Breakfast is nice and sufficient. For the dinner, nearby restaurants can be found on walking distance. Very friendly staff.

We have booked a room in the Villa Zeezicht back in July, prepayment was not required according to the booking conditions and the hostess said that we could pay when we arrived. We were looking forward to our holiday in Cape Town and invited our friends to join us for a second room. We were very surprised when we arrived from the airport and saw a dark building. The girl who came out to us said that the hotel was closed - the owner was in the hospital (suddenly) and her daughter had left. But she has called to owner — and nothing, no actions to decide a problem with our booking. I understand that anything can happen, but it was VERY unpleasant to stand with suitcases at 9 pm on a completely dark (load shedding) street in not the safest city in the world. It still seemed to me that booking a room imposes obligations on both parties: both the guest and the host. And here it turned out that since there is no advance payment, it is not even necessary to warn about force majeure. It’s unpleasant for me and I don’t want anyone to find themselves in this situation.

Location Of this property is excellent. Staff very helpful and responsive when contacted. Accommodation clean, but very dated. Felt like we were staying in my Granny's house, but if you're coming from overseas, probably quite nice and characterful. TV not working, and only able to access 2 channels if it was, so no sport access, which was disappointing,

We had a very warm welcom and felt like a member of the family. The few of our room was amazing. Well, this house is not new, but it has history and you can feel it on every window, every door, the floor and the furnitures.We loved the charme of this Villa and are looking forward do book it again.
