This was our second stay at 5 Camp St and wouldn’t be staying anywhere in Cape Town. Convenient to all locations and amenities. Emmy, our host was wonderful and very helpful with recommendations. Have stayed with family and with friends, this place is suitable for everyone. Highly recommend!

Brilliant stay, Emmy and her staff were great. Walking distance to Kloof Street and Long Street, where there was plenty of restaurants and shops. Supermarket nearby too. The property was just as described and was great, hoping to return in the near future.

I had an amazing stay at 5 Camp Street Guesthous in the Cape Town gardens. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The location right at the foot of Tablemountain was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and shops. I highly recommend 5 Camp Street guesthouse to anyone visiting Cape Town.

I have had the pleasure of staying at 5 Camp Street for the 2nd time, and I look forward to staying here again when I next visit Cape Town. The location in the Gardens is perfect and is easy walking distance to some of the finest eateries in Cape Town. Emmy does a fabulous job in caring for our every need, from providing access to beverages in the open cafe, daily housekeeping, convenient laundry service as needed, arranging pickups for the airport, etc. It is a lovely, gated haven to call home when we visit Cape Town and each of the guesthouses has its own unique charm. We feel extremely safe and cared for when we stay here.

Very nice house in the center of the Gardens district. We are a family of five and had an excellent time exploring Cape Town from this guest house. We would definitely book again.
