This hotel was absolutely beautiful but definitely a bit overpriced. The rooms are beautiful and spacious but we were a little disappointed with the housekeeping as there was bird poop on our balcony floor and even after telling them to clean it they didn’t. For the price we definitely expected more. The location is perfect for shopping and the aquarium.
Breakfast and room service food were all very good.

There is a reason One & Only properties is so spectacular. The staff is 1, the lodging is 2 and the locations are unbeatable. I felt like a king, the staff always greeted us(most times by name), the room was a basic room but not by standard means. It was large, had a bath tub, separate shower, just phenomenal. I will be visiting more One & Only properties now!

We stayed at the One and Only for a week earlier this month to enjoy as much of Cape Town as we could and without a doubt we picked the perfect hotel. The location is perfect, you literally turn right out of the hotel entrance and you are on the waterfront, no drama, 100% safe, no issues whatsoever. The hotel itself is beautiful, we stayed in a marine view room, which is only their entry level room but it was huge, immaculate and had a great view and balcony overlooking the marina. We had a little gift left for us each day by housekeeping which was a lovely touch. The view from the main bar is amazing, it is literally as if someone has painted Table Mountain onto the windows. Our first day we were greeted with a stunning view of the clouds pouring over the top of the mountain like a waterfall - amazing. A slightly hidden gem of the hotel is the restaurant by the pool which we used a few times for slightly more casual dining but the food was simply stunning. If you want a luxury hotel to use as a base to explore CT then look no further.

Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and remembered our names. The room was clean and they left us little presents at night! The location was walking distance to most of what we did in Cape Town and the staff were knowledgeable and shared great information about the area.

Attention to detail in every aspect. Wonderful staff. Beautiful food. Fabulous location. Heavenly comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast. Enjoyable and easy check in check out experience. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone!!

This was one of those places where I left a tip because I didn’t want to see rude but there was no service really When we arrived today we were welcomed nicely and shown to a place to sit but that’s it, despite a waiter coming to clean the table I then had to get up 20 minutes later to ask one of the staff standing around chatting to serve us. Same when asking for the cheque the waiter one was no where to be seen, I got up hunted down some It’s probably the worst service we have experienced in our South Africa trip aside maybe from Tang which wasn’t great either

Great location a few minutes walk from everything. Very friendly and helpful staff who could not do enough for us. Room was beautifully decorated, bed very comfortable. Pool area was spacious with lots of separate seating areas & visiting local wildlife. Had a great lunch by the pool. Breakfast served from 6:30 which was great for getting out for trips, everything from champagne and oysters to healthy smoothies and non stop coffee.
