This hotel was absolutely beautiful but definitely a bit overpriced. The rooms are beautiful and spacious but we were a little disappointed with the housekeeping as there was bird poop on our balcony floor and even after telling them to clean it they didn’t. For the price we definitely expected more. The location is perfect for shopping and the aquarium.
Breakfast and room service food were all very good.

My mom and I went to have lunch at the one and only lounge restaurant on Sunday to continue celebrating her birthday. The experience we had was absolutely amazing!! Our waitress ( Zoe) and her colleagues (Thobeka and Musa) were so lovely and welcoming. When deciding on what to choose from the menu, Zoe could give the best advice on every meal and even the drinks we had with our meals. The food was warm and absolutely delicious, I could taste and enjoy every flavour in my food and it was evident that the chef truly takes pride in how the dishes are prepared and presented to guest. I look forward to exploring the rest of the other restaurants (especially Nobu, because I love good sushi!!) and other services the hotel has to offer. I will definitely recommend to friends and family as well.

Selecting this lovely property for my first trip to Cape Town was the best decision I could have made. The beautiful resort is centrally located close to the V&A Waterfront which has amazing shops and restaurants. Our room (an island suite) was beautifully appointed and had every amenity we could possibly need. The property's lobby restaurant and bar had some delicious food and stellar service (thank you Elton for everything), breakfast each morning at Rooi did not disappoint with a plethora of options on offer, and i just finished a tranquility couples treatment eith my husband that was out of this world amazing. When traveling to the area this is thr clear choice.

This is our 7th stay here and it was another memorable trip. We had a few hiccups with our room location but the way that was sorted says a lot about this hotel. Anne Scott the GM met with us, listener to our feedback and was so kind and gracious. Why do we come back? 1. Location - It’s the perfect spot, you can walk to the V and A, close to great restaurants on Bree Street. 2. Pool and staff - This has the best pool anywhere in my kids view ( and I agree ). However, what truly makes it are the brilliant staff around the pool. Zaza is fantastic at her job, welcoming you like old friends and Melissa runs the show and is so considerate. 3. Breakfast - Next level and the re-fit really helps alongside great and friendly staff. The room is great as always and Zinde at Spa was great. We love the familiarity of the surroundings and will be back again

We visited today for afternoon tea and firstly the space is amazing, what a view! We were introduced to Zoe who immediately made us feel so welcome. At times the staff in some high end establishments can be uncomfortably formal but Zoe was warm, welcoming but most importantly hugely professional. Zoe talked us through how the experience would be and made recommendations on the menu and drink choices. The very best of staff anticipate your needs before you even realise you are going to ask for it ,you turn around and there it is- that was the service that Zoe provided today. I hope Zoe’s employers realise what a committed, hard working, professional and brilliant employee they have, you made our visit very special and because of this exceptional service, I can’t wait to return to stay at the hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The staff, service and facilities are fabulous. The speed of the room service and the smiles all round, the excellent gym, the wonderful kids club, the beautiful rooms (with black out curtains!) make it our top choice.
