Our experience at this hotel went above and beyond our wildest expectations! The hotel's exquisite location grants you a balcony view of the ocean and the majestic Table Mountain as a backdrop.
The level of service we received was truly exceptional, leaving us thoroughly impressed. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the range of amenities provided was more than generous.
The rooms themselves strike a perfect balance between spaciousness and coziness, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. A noteworthy feature that sets this hotel apart is the complimentary mini bar, offering a variety of snacks and drinks – a rare find. What's even more remarkable is that these snacks are not only delicious but also cater to vegan and gluten-free preferences.
Without a doubt, we are already making plans to return to this outstanding establishment in the future.

A better location you won't find! Right on beach road with an amazing view, parking, walking a few steps to nearby restaurants, very efficient and friendly staff, shout out to Mandilizi he was simply amazing!😊

A very impressive hotel with charming, helpful staff. Our room was spacious and we really appreciated the welcoming gift of a bottle of wine and a platter of cheese and fruit. The restaurant food was excellent and very reasonable. We also really enjoyed Caamil’s Bar where Tinashe was an excellent host. Breakfast was also really good with a wide-ranging buffet and a menu for cooked items was also available. Wouldn’t hesitate to return

This was an extremely unforgettable stay after having to find last minute accommodation as the booking we had turned out to be awful and totally overrated for what it really was. From the welcome to the exit was a very pleasant experience.

I had seen this hotel on my last trip to Cape Town almost 10 years ago. I had decided then itself - on my next visit to Cape Town - I am going to stay at the Bay Hotel. I am glad I could make it happen. This is an absolutely amazing hotel - the location is perfect - right across from the beach at Camps Bay, Table Mountain is in the background and just drop dead gorgeous views all around. The area is relatively safe for tourists with lots of shopping and upscale restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are quite large with comfortable furnishings and a seating area plus balcony. The bathrooms are huge with a full bath and dual vanity. If I had to complain- the only thing I would say is that the wifi was a bit slow and that the TV seemed to be 15 years old in my room. Who cares, I was too busy taking in the view outside! A buffet breakfast (cooked to order) was included in my room rate and was amazing! The breakfast area does get crowded though so make sure you go ahead of the main rush hour (I had to wait over 20 min to find a seat). The hotel has a large swimming pool and a spa and I believe it is possible to make day reservations on the swimming pool deck (please confirm). Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Just FYI - the CPT international airport is about 30-40 min away depending on the time of the day. An Uber ride will cost you around $20 to get there. All in all - I loved my stay at the Bay Hotel. I am 100% staying there again on my next trip to Cape Town.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einmalig. Toller Strand, viele Restaurants im unmittelbaren Umfeld. Man kann vor dem Hotel auf dem hauseigenen Parkplatz parken. Der Parkplatz ist rund um die Uhr bewacht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider war unser Beistellbett bei der Anreise nicht gemacht. Auch die fehlenden Handtücher für drei Personen schienen sich bis zum Abreisetag als schwierig zu gestalten. Die Dusche setzt das Badezimmer schnell unter Wasser. Das Restaurant im Eingangsbereich bietet zwar ein nettes Frühstück, dennoch war es nicht möglich für drei Personen einen Tisch zu erhalten so das wir dich gedrängt an einem zweier Tisch platziert wurden. Leider auch am Folgetag. Die Flure bzw. langen Korridore sind in die Jahre gekommen.

We loved the Bay hotel on all counts. It is excellently located, rooms are spacious and well connected with the outside area, staff are very friendly and helpful and food is good. Atmosphere in evening not as vibrant as during the morning. Highly recommended .
