I just checked out of this hotel and couldn’t wait to write a review. This is one of the best (if not the best) hotels ever. Let’s start with the staff who were so accommodating and friendly. Elton, Mercy (who checked us in), Melody, Phila etc (sorry I didn’t get everyone’s name) were terrific. They welcomed us like we were family. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed. The common areas were neat and clean. We particularly loved the artwork. The breakfast was filling and delicious. The location was superb - within walking distance to promenade, waterfront and city centre. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It’s nice to know that the owners also make donations to charity to support school children and conserve water due to past droughts. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend. Thank you to the team for making our brief stay in Cape Town so memorable.

Kleines, stilvolles Hotel, sehr freundliches, hilfreiches Team. Das Zimmer groß und stylisch, komfortabel, gutes Bett. Von der 3. Etage aus ein toller Blick auf die Stadt, den Ozean und den netten Innenhof mit Pool. Reibungsloser Transferservice mit ausgesprochen freundlichem Fahrer- Grüße an Peter! Waterfront und Waterkant sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Zum Innenhof/Vesperdene Rd, ist es ruhig.Die High Level Rd ist hingegen stark befahren, auch nachts. Oceanview is the best one!

I had the pleasure of staying at The Treehouse Boutique Hotel the last week in March 2025 and stayed 8 nights. I highly recommend this hotel - It’s conveniently situated in Green Point, near restaurants and the V&A Waterfront (I walked there a number of times). I felt like a part of the neighborhood after a few days and had my favourite restaurant and gelato place (shoutout to Mano’s, Hudsons and Moro Gelato). The Treehouse is my kind of place as I prefer boutique hotels, not giant impersonal resorts. The entire team, including: Sheila, Evance and Elton took absolutely great care of me. I stayed in a corner sea view room and woke up early every morning so that I could see the stunning sunrise view across the waterfront and Table Bay. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so lovely.

The Treehouse hotel is a wonderful hotel. All hotels from the Living Journey are. The staff is super helpful and make the stay extra special. Breakfast, as always, excellent. Wonderful rooms and amenities. Please also try the spa treatments, they were lovely.

Location is perfect for getting Uber to and from town and surrounds Being in the suburbs is better than in town Our car was safely stored in off street parking The secret garden suite must be the best room in the house (though haven’t checked other suites) as it is far from the main road and has lots of space and light

What a wonderful surprise we had when we checked into this boutique hotel! We did randomly choose it based on location however we were so pleased once we had arrived. In the middle of the city but tucked up and away from the hustle and bustle. We did start out with some complications on our booking but after calling the hotel direct it was immediately rectified - so this was a good start. A warm welcome, a beautiful room, great service, lovely breakfasts on a pretty tree covered patio with a friendly helpful team made it all more of a great choice. Would we return? Yes! Would we recommend? Yes!
