Beautiful venue with fantastic service staff. Villas are incredibly well equipped. The entire experience felt like I was living in my own home in the Cape Winelands. Does not get much better than that. Have to give credit to the food as well. All meals were top drawer!

I struggle with sleeping. Not at Klein Welmoed, I slept like a baby. Maybe it was the bed maybe the fresh air maybe both because it was amazing. Taking in the views at sunrise, a walk around the Dam it's what I needed to kick off 2025. A huge thank you to our host Craig Featherby and his mazing team at KW. Cheryl-Lynne

Beautiful scenary. Staff very polite and helpful. Venue clean and cozy. Food was great. great facilities and cater for all your needs. I would definitely recommend this guest house if you want to get away from the noise and busy day to day life.

We had the great pleasure of sharing a magical three days with our team on this beautiful estate. Karin and her team are amazing, food was out of this world and the rooms are beautiful. Stunning stay....will most definitely be back, even just for a day visit if we can't get in.

Firstly, the scenery at Klein Welmoed is just beautiful, from arrival past the vineyards to seeing the lovely homestead, cottages and pool. The location is very peaceful and quiet, with a lovely olive grove at the back. We stayed in Olive 2 Cottage for 9 days which was excellent. It allowed us the facilities to be self-sufficient while visiting family but able to enjoy the amazing breakfast put on by Karen and her friendly staff. The pool area is also lovely for a dip in the heat. Highly recommend this accommodation if you are looking for somewhere close to Somerset West or Stellenbosch, that feels quiet, in nature yet secure. Wonderful!

In two words - Absolutely Stunning! We stayed in Barn Place a large, 2 bedroomed cottage on the edge of the property. Spectacular views over the dam to the mountains beyond and in the other direction, rows and rows of vineyards Very well appointed, tastefully furnished with all the mod cons to make your stay extremely comfortable. Self cater or eat out - sorted! The farm breakfast every morning was a great way to start the day A super friendly and helpful team for whom nothing is too much trouble.

My husband and I recently spent two nights in one of the cottages at Klein Welmoed. It ws sublime. The ambience and the views were spectacular. Karin was fantastic and every little detail was taken care of. We didn't want to leave and we cannot wait to go back

We had such a wonderful stay at Klein Welmoed. My mom uses a walker. Hosts ensured that nothing would be in her way when we arrived back from a wedding that night - chairs were moved to accommodate us. Luxury rooms. Very comfortable beds - slept well. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Beautiful gardens to walk around.
