A truly excellent gem!
I have stayed in 3 hotels during my trip to Cape Town this time and this is the best accommodation I have had. Everything from the welcome from Wayne, the assistant manager, the property itself, the view to all the staff that we have encountered etc. this place is truly excellent and I look forward to staying longer the next time I’m in the country!

Het enige wat aan de verwachting voldeed wat het bed. Heerlijk zacht en comfortabel. Verder was de kamer groot en op het eerste gezicht heel mooi. De afwerking was echter ver beneden pijl. Verfresten rondom etc. Hier en daar was het gewoon smerig. Schimmel op het gordijn van de douche, diverse smerige plekken op de ramen, het balkon was ranzig. Wij hadden een kamer met uitzicht op zee (prachtig!!) en van dat uitzicht hebben we genoten. We hadden een jacuzzi op ons balkon, deze werkte echter niet en zorgde voor stroomuitval van de airco!! We kregen alleen een "sorry".

It was my second stay this year and the team always hits the mark. They are always on point, there when you need them, but also not "always" there as to give you your privacy and comfort. They have the perfect balance. Truly top notch and my favorite place in Camps Bay.

Luxurious Cape Town Stay
We had an amazing stay at Lion’s Eye and cannot wait to return on our next trip to Cape Town! The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. Room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and the hotel breakfast was delicious which was enjoyed over beautiful views of Camp’s Bay. A true boutique hotel experience.

The hotel is really great and in the most perfect position in Camps Bay, one of the safest areas in Cape Town. At night you should still Uber down to the restaurants, but if you're eating in the Camps Bay area it's just like a 1-2 minutes drive. The hotel itself only has a few rooms with some common areas and an honest bar, where you can get wine and other drinks and just write down what you got. The rooms are super clean and the staff is the nicest! We're for sure going back in the SA summer time!
