Thoroughly treated at the afternoon high tea! The food was fantastic, with special consideration to my sisters' dietary requirements. All the staff were polite and friendly, but a special mention to our lovely waitress Thuli - so helpful and nothing was too great an ask! Will definitely be recommending this experience to family and friends back in the UK.

Thuli was absolutely the best host that we’ve ever had. She thought of absolutely everything and made us feel like royalty. We’ll come back even if it’s just to see her again. The food is amazing. We were even able to take a few things home since it was way too much to finish everything. We’ll be back.

I went to the Mount Nelson for afternoon tea as a special day out for my mum’s birthday in Feb 2025. We had such a great experience. From the moment we arrived there was such attention to detail and we felt so well looked after. Our server was Thuli & she was so helpful and explained all the courses and how it would all work. There was so much more food than we expected and we could even request more if we wanted. Each course was even more delicious than the last. I had the vegan afternoon tea and I was so pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Often vegans have to miss out, but not at the Mount Nelson. We were sat inside which was lovely and cool as it was quite a hot day. We had a walk around the gardens and fountain which were gorgeous. Thanks to Thuli for making it such a memorable occasion for my mum’s birthday! We really appreciate it!

Seven of us - a family outing- had afternoon tea and it was excellent! Our waitress Thuli was so nice and very knowledgeable about all the food . The heated towel on arrival, sparkling wine and iced tea were a delightful bonus . Food was all delicious

High tea by the fountain was amazing, there is a great selection of different teas and the cheesecake was phenomenal. Such a nice atmosphere, with lovely music and gardens. Zona was so friendly and incredibly accommodating. Will definitely be back.
