Mount Nelson, the Nellie, where can one start explaining an experience at such a beautiful property. We had such a warm welcome by Mbuso, one of the doormen and Gareth, the Guest Experience Manager who met us at our car and showed us through to the lobby and assisted with our luggage. Upon our arrival at the Lobby, we were warmly met by Jacques, the Director of Guest Experience and his entire Front of House team. We had an amazing check in by Bathibile whilst having the team singing happy birthday for my birthday celebration weekend and they were all lead by Busi, one of the Guest Experience Managers. We were then taken to our beautiful room by Alex. After settling in, we were taken on a culinary journey at the Veranda Restaurant whilst being served by Nqobile who personalised our dinner to our requirements. Upon our return to our room, we were met by Amanda from the lovely Housekeeping Team who gave a special turndown and personalised gift. Before we headed to bed, we enjoyed an Espresso Martini which was setup by the In- Room dining team. We were lucky enough to meet one of the ladies, Zanele who did the setup. On the morning of our departure, we headed to the Oasis Restaurant for breakfast and was met by Nandipha who gave us a brief orientation of the offerings. We were also met by the Executive Chef, Luke whilst admiring the overwhelming breakfast options. Our waiter, Nasie made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and gave some amazing advice for tours and activities for the day. Overall our experience was nothing but memorable and all our interactions with this wonderful team was amazing. Looking forward to returning to try the famous Afternoon Tea!
