I stayed at Neighbourgood Hill in Green Point for 3 months and I was amazed by the quality of service that I received. Staff members such as Lisa, Ashael, Pam and Sam went to great lengths to ensure that my stay was pleasant. The place is beautiful and is located in close proximity to all the cool spots in Cape Town. Furthermore, the other guests were extremely friendly and I will most definitely the “Hello my friend” greeting that I would receive throughout the day from some of the foreign students

This hotel is amazing, i regret why stayed at an Air bnb during my stay in Cape Town , this hotel and its staff are the best

The hotel is well located, very clean and service overall good. However, the sleep was very uncomfortable as the room does not have Air Conditioning. During this summer time to stay in a room with no ventilation and AC was a big challenge.

Having come off a cruise at first I was disappointed, but the friendly helpful staff quickly won me over. Basic accommodation but really clean. Having the Vegan Cafe on sight was a bonus. I would class this as a very up market hostel. Suggest a few more sun beds, rack for cases and more cupboard space. Wifi good. Really handy for tour buses with a beautiful park to walk through to get there . Few good restaurants nearby. Def go back.

Very helpfull staff. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Communal areas clean and all necessary facilities provided. Outdoor space with pool and snack bar very well kept and staffed. Great value for money and super location. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a quick visit before travelling back to the UK. Check in went smoothly and the room was very clean & bed was comfortable (it was huge!). Would say the rooms were far too hot even with windows open. The aircon machine was rubbish, so we had to sleep with windows open meaning it was very loud. Sound proofing isn’t great as we could hear people upstairs in the early hours which again disturbed our sleep. Also the electricity was off for hours on the first day (nothing to do with load shedding). This meant we couldn’t use hairdryers etc, as we were leaving early for a busy day and couldn’t even have breakfast as the cafe attached was part of the same building. Having said that it’s a very good price if you’re doing a short stay where you don’t require lots of services!

Lots of wear and tear,snags and rooms not as depicted.Nobody really cares.TV was also not working. Guests smoking dagga outside...Staff doesn t care much,except maybe Sam the manager... Absolutely not worth the money.

This has nothing to do with a vacation! We arrived and were taken to an unrenovated, dirty, old room with no flooring. The furniture was already falling apart. But nothing could be done for US. It was only after we had to become really insistent that we were allocated a new room for the first night. The next day, we were given a room in the Neighbourgood Ravenscraig Hotel. Unfortunately, we were visited by cockroaches on the very first night, which probably lived under the floorboards! The night watchman (Wes?) came and sprayed the room with insecticide. He held paper in front of his face because he didn't have a mask and didn't want to inhale the poison. A few minutes later, he instructed us to move back into the room and sleep there. However, we could hardly breathe. He didn't care. He refused to give us a new room or any further help and even insulted us. He didn't want to give us the hotel's cell phone to call (we didn't have a South African SIM) to find a new hotel for the night. He simply disappeared. We had to spend the night on a sofa in the community area. The next day we got a new room. That was really okay. But it took two days of our Vacation…
