This hotel sits in the heart of Cape May, N.J., only .04 miles to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Our hotel room was the King Studio equipped with a refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster and dinner plates, cups, and utensils for 2 people. The bathroom was well appointed with a modern shower and vanity. The bed was king-size and very comfortable. The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi as well as padded lounges and umbrellas. The parking on the lot is limited. However, there is a lot in the back and plenty of street parking; all free. You'll need your car to go shopping and to go to the restaurants, unless you like to bike. There are 2 levels to this hotel; we were on the first level, and we requested this at the time of booking, although it's not guaranteed. They're no elevators and quite a walk up the steps. All in all, a pleasant stay in a beautiful seashore area.

The BC on Madison Avenue is a great location, about 4 blocks to the beach. It is clean and comfortable, with a fridge, microwave and sink in the kitchenette. Pool and jacuzzi on site. Great customer service. Plenty of parking. All updated rooms with lovely aethetics.

Enjoyed our first stay in summer 2024 that we came back in summer 2025. The rooms are modern, clean, comfy and have great kitchenettes. We especially appreciate use of beach chairs at Pittsburg Beach. The hot tub and pool are amazing after a beach day. Can’t forget about being a short walk from Washington Street Mall for dining and shopping — without being stuck in the middle of it.

This is my second time staying here, and I would recommend this place to everyone! The room and bathroom were always clean and neat, the pool area was also very nice. Staff was amazing, check-in was easy, and on-site parking was a big plus! I'm looking forward to coming back next year :)

Comfy beds, great location, good use of space in the room. Nicely renovated and very clean. Outside the room can get noisy if you’re on the street level. Can hear footsteps loudly in rooms above

Great location with easy access to the beach, park and Washington Street and the bed was very comfortable. We checked in late with their sister hotel, but had no issues.

No one mentioned we would have to go to a different hotel to check in. We called staff twice to say we'd be late as the traffic from the DC area was terrible! We arrived just before midnight and called the office and knocked for 45 minutes. Finally, someone in the driveway told us you had to check in at La Mer, which no one had mentioned. By the time we got a room key it was after 1 a.m. The room was clean but we were surprised no one followed up or apologized. We did see a notice on the door after our experience as to check-in location. It should have been mentioned when we called twice to notify the staff we'd be late. Very disappointing.
