Ein 4 Sternhotel das total überbewertet ist. Mit diese Mängeln und Zustand ist das höchstens ein 2 Stern wert, wenn überhaupt. Zwar wurden wir freundlich empfangen aber danach fing das Desaster an. Wir hatten das Zimmer 205, es sah auf dem ersten Blick gut aus, nur das Badezimmer hat undefinierbar gestunken. Wir habe es gleich gemeldet und es wurde uns ein anderes Zimmer für den nächsten Tag bereitgestellt. Das Zimmer sieht auch auf den ersten Blick gut aus, aber beim zweiten hinschauen haben wir diverse Mängel Entdeckt. Siehe Fotos. Was fehlte: Für den Wasserkocher fehlte der Adapter. Im Badezimmer hatte es keine Kleenex box (im ersten hatte es, im zweiten nicht), vom Vorgänger war noch eine Verschlusskappe in der Dusche, auch fehlte die Zusatzdecken der leere Schutzüberzug war zwar im Schrank aber nichts drin. Das Reinigungspersonal sollte besser sauber machen und genauer hinschauen. Auch fehlt eine Garderobe für die Jacken zum aufhängen, man kann nichts zum lüften aufhängen. Auch haben wir festgestellt das einige Zimmer Bademäntel hatten und einige nicht, wo bleibt hier die Linie? Wir entdeckten im Hotel überall Spinnweben an den Lampen und Ecken, es sah (schmuddelig) aus. Der Eigentümer sollte sich besser um das Hotel kümmern, sitzt aber lieber beim Empfang mit Freunden (Grüsst auch die Leute nicht). Wir werden nicht mehr in diesem Hotel absteigen, es gibt auch noch andere Hotels in Cannobio die sich um Sauberkeit kümmern.

We did not stay at the hotel, but went to the restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was recommended by friends. My wife and I were not disappointed - very nice dinner. The service was great, food great, and view of Lago Maggiore was marvelous. We would have dinner, again, when in Cannobio.

What joy is this small hotel facing the lake and next to the small port! Junior suite 603 has everything to please! Mattress a little hard but this is often the case in Italy... Nice personalized decoration in each room, air conditioning, good courtesy products and perfect breakfast buffet! In summer facing the lake... in short "Happiness"!

This definitely must be the best hotel in Cannobio. First, the location can't be beaten. Right at the main promenade, with beautiful vistas, and with all places of interest within an easy stroll. The hotel must have undergone a recent refurbishment or re-painting. Both on the outside and the inside the paint looks very fresh, and there are no signs whatsoever of the wear or tiredness that often plagues old buildings. The rooms are very nice, decorated in a classical Italian style that matches the building and the surroundings very well. You've got everything that you need, everything is in perfect working order. Our room had a small balcony, which we loved. The views from there are incredible. Sitting there in the evening and overviewing the lake and the life on the promenade is perfect to wind down a day. The service is also excellent and the staff are very friendly. And although room rates may be at the upper end of the range in Cannobio, they are still very reasonable in comparison to what you pay for similar hotels in other tourist destinations. Just one word of caution - the food outlets connected to the hotel can't keep up with its standard. Since there are plenty of dining options in the area, this is not an issue. All in all we enjoyed our stay a lot and didn't find anything to fault. If you are in Cannobio, I can't think of a better place to stay. Highly recommended.

Lets start with the positives: The room que s fantastic The view is fabulous The location is the best in town Now the opportunities There is no one in the front desk before 8am que n case you need an early checkout, so you need to do it in the evening. What is easy if they would already tell you when you are checking in. In our bathroom there was an amazing bathtub but bo shower

We have just returned from the most amazingly relaxing week at the Hotel Cannobio. We stayed in a Junior Suite overlooking the lake and it was fantastic. The hotel staff and environment are superb. Our daughter wanted to bring a few friends (all 17) and the hotel arranged for them to stay at their sister hotel a short walk away so they could have some independence. This suited us down to the ground and was the best possible solution. The girls loved their little private beach and own space and we loved the peace and quiet. Only seeing them at supper time at one of the fabulous restaurants in the town. Valentina in particular was outstanding in her organisation. We loved this hotel.

Haben über Ostern 5 Tage in diesem Hotel übernachtet. Freundlicher Check In - Auto wurde in der Tiefgarage geparkt. Das Zimmer mit Balkon und Seeblick war gut, sehr viel Stauraum 2 Kästen waren vorhanden. Beim Frühstück hat es alles gegeben. Haben einmal abends im Restaurant gegessen, war fantastisch. Ein großes Lob an den Koch. Hunde sind hier sehr willkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert.
