Sehr gut parkt man auf dem Gratisparkplatz zu Beginn der „Via 27-28 Maggio“ am Ortseingang von Cannobbio. Der Weg von hier zur malerischen Promenade mit seinen pastellfarbenen Häuserfronten und den schmiedeeisernen Balkonen ist kurz. Wenige Schritte entfernt liegt das historische Gebäude des Hotels Pironi, ein 500 Jahre altes Bürgerhaus (zeitweise Kloster) erinnert in seiner Form an einen hohen Schiffsbug. Abends laden zahlreiche Restaurants in direkter Seenähe ein. Ein hübsches "Fleckchen Erde".
