This hotel is one of the three hotels. The reception is located at Hotel Rocamar, which is quite far. The room is spacious with a kitchenette, but the decor is a little simple and old-fashioned . The balcony is huge with a sea view. There is a hotel private parking area that costs 7.50 euros per night. Otherwise there are free parking on the street which is hard to find and paid parking which is free at night. The gym, swimming pool, sauna, and steam room are free of charge m, but they close at 6 pm, which is quite inconvenient. There are also many restaurants inside, which you choose to include with the room. I overheard that they did program for Christmas and New Year. It is perfect for those who just want to stay in the resort and not to go around the island.

Wir hatten eine wirkliche schöne, angenehme und sehr entspannte Zeit hier in diesem Hotel. Wir haben das selbe direkt nochmal gebucht für nächstes Jahr. Das Hotel hängt irgendwie mit 2 weiteren zusammen, dessen Pools man mit nutzen kann. Die Zimmer waren sauber, ein angenehmer Standard nicht abgewohnt. Die Ausstattung top, nicht nur einen kleinen Kühlschrank sogar eine kleine miniküche, Bad eine große Dusche, einen Föhn … was braucht man mehr ♀️ an dem Pool direkt vorm Zimmer war immer Ruhe, höchstens 3 man die sich auf den liegen sonnten. Das Personal super freundlich. Wir fanden die Lage sehr gut, nicht weit bis Funchal und ringsherum genug Möglichkeiten etwas einzukaufen oder essen zu gehen, eine sehr gute Autovermietung direkt um die Ecke.

Das Hotel liegt in einer guten Lage mit Meerblick. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption und auch im Restaurant Das Zimmer immer sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichlich Wir werden jeder Zeit wiederkommen.

Complexe de trois hôtels permettant de profiter des atouts de chacun ! Petit déjeuner au top sur une grande terrasse surplombant la mer. Attention pour la partie Orchidea, si vous prenez les chambres promos, c'est vue sur mur, un conseil prenez les vues mers pour etre sûr... Petit bémol qui fait que je ne mets que 4, les piscines intérieures n'étaient pas chauffées

Part of the Rocomar complex. Our room was clean and adiquate size. Kitchinette was small, The pans were big enough to feed a family of 8. It would have benefitted from a small egg pan, a collinder, a grater, salt and pepper pots with some s&p in and filters for the coffee machine. Outdoor pools were chilly- but expected. Spa looked like it had been refurbished not too long ago and was a nice touch. Large plunge pool which was not used much. Lots of steps on the complex. Be prepared. Loads of sheltered sun bathing areas on the terraces. Terraces by Oliviera Apts in desperate need of refurbishment. Main reception in the Royal Orchid and walkways were bare of pictures and very clinical.

These apartments are more like 2 star accommodation, don’t be fooled be their pics. The rooms are dirty, dated, damp and damaged. The kitchenette is ancient and the bathroom was dirty and had seen better days. The pillows were rancid and the rooms door looked like it had been broken into at some point. To top this off there was drilling in the room above.

Stayed in an apartment overlooking the pool and Atlantic ocean,fully fitted kitchen,comfortable bed and kept clean by a lovely team of cleaners.Recpetion staff always smiling and helpfull.I was on bed and breakfast,which was fantastic with s much choice,would go back to this hotel again in a heartbeat
