Refer to my previous review on Aloft Cancun Hotel Zone. That was the reason why I moved to this hotel in downtown Cancun
I was more than happy to be here. The hotel itself looked kitschy with some concrete human statues at the entrance. The pool was small (you can enjoy swimming at the beach though). But overall, the vibes was homey! My booking came with free breakfast.
The receptionist - Jessica - was very welcoming. She's competent speaking in English and would explain everything you need to know upon check in. She even gave me a printed map of what I can see and do around downtown Cancun. Room was ok, large room with a kitchenette and a proper sink. There's smart TV in the room with Netflix and YouTube.
Location wise, it's 5 minutes to Soriana Supermarket, and then cross the road (Avenida Tulum) from Soriana and you're at the ADO Bus Terminal to the airport. You can also take bus R1 on Avenida Tulum to the Hotel Zone.
There's a Poke shop next door and a burger (if you are sick of Mexican food). It's 15 mins walk to Mercado 23 (where the locals shop) and you can buy souvenirs way cheaper.
You can book Uber and you'd be picked up in front of the hotel.
I will definitely come back to this hotel when I visit Cancun in the future.

En medio de la ciudad de Cancun no te piensas encontrar un hotel boutique como este, es un bosque fresco, muy accesible para personas discapacitadas, poco estacionamiento pero el lugar es un encanto. No tiene restaurante de carta, pero el desayuno qué ofrece es completo. El personal de recepción tatiata y Bruno son 5 estrella por igual. Y para Cancun su precio si merece.

The staff members were super friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful, cozy and conducive to much peace and relaxation. I highly recommend this gorgeous Hotel! I would stay here again and again.

The staff were lovely, and always helpful. The pool area is an oasis in the city. And the breakfast is a perfect way to start the day.

The front desk staff here - Tatiana and Jo - are lovely people. Very helpful and friendly! The breakfasts are moderate in size and taste good, although the sauce on the chilaquiles was very clearly watered down two mornings in a row. The property is very interesting, with neat architecture and fascinating pocket spaces. The greenery here is beautiful!
However, things went from bad to worse each day of our stay. Our first room was decidedly lacking in privacy and unreasonably noisy with hotel staff work taking place outside the window at early hours. Our second room had a broken air conditioning unit which the maintenance staff was later able to partially resurrect. And, near the end of our stay, either the housekeeper or a maintenance worker walked off with my wife's wallet. This is not a baseless accusation or mere speculation; it was, unequivocally, one of the two who took it. We reported the issue, but our departure was mere hours later, and we just took the L on our way out. Future guests be forewarned.

This is such a charming little place in the heart of Cancun - reasonably priced, basic but clean and comfortable rooms, helpful staff and a nice breakfast included. But my favourite part by far was the gorgeous central garden and fountain! I would gladly stay here again.

Quiet, serene location with lots of greenery, outdoor access within the confines of the hotel property. Friendly staff! Bruno was so kind and let me checkin a little bit early. Also staff on after Bruno was fantastic but have forgotten her name. Air conditioned, clean room with a fridge. Nice linens, towels and comfortable bed
