The room is large, clean, and well-equipped. You can cook and wash clothes. The balcony is super large and the view is nice. The location is very good. You can walk to the Australian National University, Botanical Gardens, Museum, Library, and the city center. The restaurant and cafe downstairs are also very convenient. Recommended

Do not stay here between November and February. NO air conditioning in any of the suites, only first and possibly second floor Hotel rooms. Told us that we should open the windows and admire the "city view" which looks out over a major highway and petrol fumes with NYC level road noise. Then we noticed dozens of spiders inhabiting the wire fencing of the patio, so if we left the doors open, we let the spiders in. Tried to call the front desk with the phone in the suite and it was broken. The next morning my daughter sat at the breakfast table and the chair had a screw poking through. The lobby, while attractive to walk through, had the most uncomfortable chairs. There is no redeeming quality, literally the worst accommodation i have stayed in in Australia. I prefer the hostel I stayed in. The pricing is a ripoff

Ain’t a value for money experience
Ain’t a value for money experience. Lake facing apartment is directly facing the busy motorway which is extremely noisy. Dishwasher door is way too loose that swing downwards with full force that causes bruises to my legs. As the room is non aircon, it’s definitely way too hot for summer stay.

Highway traffic noise.
First time visit. Although the description days Lake View, it’s more like in front of the busy highway. If you're light sleepers, I would not recommend this as it gets quite noisy at nights due to fast traffic right outside.

Architecturally beautiful, back of house need week
This was the second time i have stayed here. Both times someone from house keeping has let themselves into my room shortly after check in.
My first room was great, unfortunately i booked an apartment for the second stay and it was quite cramped, i also didn’t have any glasses, coffee/t, utensils.
There was also a terrible smell coming from the drains.
Bar staff were friendly however their pos system could use an upgrade, to order one drink took a long time as they needed to press 100 buttons just to get the sale through.

Apartments were great but pots and pans not so goo - Hadley’s got extremely hot 🔥 and I burnt my hands.Couch uncomfortable and cover kept sliding off

Hotel Hot Box
The entrance and main area of the hotel is excellent. However, the apartment we stayed in was unmanageably hot and the eco feature of this hotel was torture. So much so we checked out early and forfeited the costs of the additional.
Staff all seemed good food etc. The actual apartment was below average and uncomfortable but I’d not give it a second thought if it wasn’t for the heat, which seems amplified compared to outside
