Whitehall

This was our 2nd trip to Whitehall and this trip there were issues with customer service. The Good and why we came back to stay at the Inn: -Great location , very clean, beautiful gathering areas , fire pits , staff works hard to clean rooms and hotel and lastly a relaxed setting. Negative - staff was inconsistent in friendliness and professionalism . We had an issue with our room- it was on the 3rd floor and window unit was just turned on upon our arrival. It was extremely hot and I have asthma so I knew I could not be in this room. Also the Inn does not explain that to get to this room, that you must take a very dark, winding narrow staircase to the room . This would be challenging for a person with mobility issues or low vision - which I have. The room advertises a glimpse / view of the harbor- this was not visible due to trees and vegetation . We requested to change rooms and they accommodated our request . It was a less expensive room but it had great stairs and a split unit air conditioner that made the room very comfortable. Upon leaving we asked to be credited the difference on the tower room versus the king room. The manager did not respond . We asked again for information on what the difference was between the cost of the rooms. No response. I left a message at the front desk for Paula to call me. She did not. I called and left a message for her to call, she did not. After we returned home ,I called her and requested to know what the difference in cost of the 2 rooms were but she she did not know nor could she find that out. She then told me it was our choice to move rooms so she would not give us a credit. It was not our choice to be in a room that was not adequately ventilated . Nor was it our choice to maneuver a winding staircase not meant for someone with low vision . Please update your info and appropriately describe this room. Lastly I requested to speak with the general manager who has never called me. Very disappointing customer service .

The front desk and concierge were welcoming and very helpful ,A nice breakfast buffet with a good variety of ,Overall, A Hotel offered a great stay with comforts and a fantastic location. It’s a perfect choice for tourists or business travelers who want to be in the heart of the city. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

We loved staying at the Whitehall Hotel.....the staff were amazingly fiendly, the breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were quant, and property is beautiful! Proximity to downtown Camden is terrific as well.

Lovely property. I felt welcome and so comfortable. Breakfast had a beautiful European flare! I can't wait to return.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly and gave great restaurant recommendations. The fire pits outside were a wonderful treat as the evenings were cool.
