Ellie was very friendly and helpful during check in, and check out was quick and simple too. The room cleaners were also very kind when we passed in the hall. The waitstaff at both The View and The Vintage Room were warm and welcoming, and service was pleasant everywhere we went. We enjoyed our stay as it was unique in comparison to the winter months when we came last year. While there was less to do then, it was a good opportunity for us to fully take advantage of the beautiful rooms. Room 38 is our favorite! The room is clean, cozy, and accompanied by the perfect balcony view. I wish I could take the soaking tub home with me! The shower is also a bonus, and the brick compliments the marbled floor so well. It really is stunning and gives a luxurious charm. Not cookie-cutter like other hotels! True B&B vibe. I would like to add that the drinks and food that we experienced at both bars, was truly impressive for such a small operation. The staff appeared very dedicated to providing a great atmosphere for you to enjoy your stay.

Our first impression was front desk lady and she was lovely gave us a great run down of the facility and where to dine. The room was lovely and great views. Our bathroom was first class and patio had a beautiful view of harbor. All n all great experience

The room itself was absolutely beautiful — two fireplaces, a heated bathroom floor, a soaking tub, and an amazing shower made it feel luxurious and relaxing. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t match the high price point. Both the bar and restaurant were closed with no advance notice. When traveling to Maine in the shoulder season, we carefully choose hotels based on convenience and available amenities, so finding out on arrival that these were unavailable was a major disappointment. On top of that, our room was never refreshed. Breakfast dishes were left out all day, even after texting and speaking with the front desk. The staff generally seemed checked out and uninterested in ensuring guests had a pleasant stay. This was a five-star price tag with a three-star experience at best. A beautiful property, but the lack of communication and attention to detail really diminished what could have been a great stay.

I did not stay in the hotel but ate in the restaurant that is situated in the beautiful historic hotel. The setting was gorgeous, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the food was fabulous!! I will be back!

This is a wonderful hotel with a world class staff. Terrific location; so much within walking distance in Camden, and the front desk was really helpful about day trips and car excursions. Lovely rooms (all have king beds) and the bathroom had a wonderful soaking tub. Fireplace was a nice touch. Only drawback was that my room faced the front street and bar across the street dispelled an obnoxiously loud crowd beginning at midnight each night...if you get a room that faces front, ask for another one. Lovely breakfast included each morning and the rooftop bar has fabulous views.

Cher General Manager Erick Anderson, L’hôtel 16 Bay View est superbe : une bâtisse rénovée avec goût, au cœur de Camden, proche de la marina. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien équipées, avec une grande salle de bain (baignoire à jets et douche), terrasse et cheminée. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, fait maison, et le personnel est chaleureux et attentionné. Mais pour un hôtel à 350–450 $/nuit, la propreté est le vrai point faible : poussière sous les lits, sur les meubles, et dépôts dans la baignoire à jets dès son utilisation. À ce niveau de prix, la chambre doit être impeccable. Cela montre un manque de contrôle du ménage, et c’est vraiment le point le plus décevant du séjour. Même de petits détails, comme une boîte de mouchoirs quasi vide, traduisent un manque de vérification. Autres points : le ménage quotidien n’est pas automatique, ce qui n’a pas de sens pour un hôtel de ce standing ; le parking facturé 15 $/jour, bien qu’indiqué gratuit sur le site, et une salle de sport à 2 km, non précisée clairement. Le potentiel est énorme, le personnel bienveillant, mais un renforcement du nettoyage, du suivi et de la transparence des services est indispensable pour que 16 Bay View atteigne enfin l’excellence qu’il mérite. The room was fantastic, view was amazing, location can’t be beat, service was friendly, and the happy hour and breakfast were excellent. Totally recommend this place!
