Room hot and smelly, no toiletries, parking very very limited in the hotel, expect to be sent to a multi story car park , coffee in rooms very poor and tasted terrible, no selection on teas just one type, no decaf drinks, no fridge in room, fan provided old and noisy, train line very close to the hotel, busy station. Not up to travel lodge standard.

Our room was unbelievably hot during the day and even at night the hot air was trapped in as the window couldn’t be opened properly. We asked for a different room, but the hotel was completely booked. Despite being out and about during the day, the ridiculously high temperatures really affected the time we spent in the room negatively. Stay away during summer!

I had a pleasant stay. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming, which made check-in easy and stress-free. The room and bed were both clean and comfortable — exactly what you want after a long day. Breakfast was a highlight, with a nice traditional English breakfast to start the day right. Would definitely recommend for a short and comfortable stay.

Our room was very hot, it was almost unbreathable and the fan which was provided from the hotel was too small and not strong enough. We bought one for ourselfes. Room size (family) was good. It was also very clean! I will come back, but, as i said, during summer time, never ever again!

Do not stay here. The website is entirely misleading. There is no air conditioning. The room and corridors were so hot it made my youngest daughter unwell. This is advertised as a 'new design' hotel. Bit basic facilities lacking. A fan in the room served only to blow hot air around. Very poor hotel, despite the very hard working and professional staff.
