Our trip went with virtual clockwork (except the horrendous car journey to Stansted). Corsican Places have everything off to a fine art. Check in at the airport was at a dedicated desk, and then the flight on a BA Charter was seamless and about as good as flying gets! Easy walk through Passport control - then quick transfer (about 10 minutes) to Le home. The journey home was equally simple (other than a short delay). We have never stayed in a more serene location. The apartments are in a beautiful setting, within massive enclosed gardens. How they keep everything looking so wonderful is hard to believe. The room we had was small, but perfectly adequate for our needs. Yes, there are numerous “interesting artefacts ” all over the place - but they all add to the character. The three swimming pools were never crowded, and were always kept immaculately clean. The Town of Calvi is a bit of a walk away (the heat was more of a nuisance than the distance) - but there are numerous restaurants and watering holes en route. Even better is the Pizza Cabin, which is about 100 yards from the hotel entrance - best Pizzas we have ever eaten! The old town is a bit of a trek - but nonetheless well worth the effort. One little”blip” - we decided to try the little train that chugs along the coast. Foolishly we left it until lunchtime, and when the two carriage train arrived we squeezed on to it - but got off again just as quickly! There must have been 150 people packed in like sardines!! Not for us - we just escaped before the train departed. All we did was laugh about it - and set off to the nearest bar for copious beers (and a headache)! Every person we spoke was positive about their holiday - and we would thoroughly recommend both Le Home and Corsican Places. Can not wait to go back!

We have just returned from the most relaxing weeks stay to Le Home. Upon arrival we had a complimentary welcome pack consisting of jam, bread, tea, juice, pate, milk etc. The studios/apartments are based in the most beautiful well kept gardens, which were maintained daily. There were three lovely pool areas to choose from, which were quiet - meaning you could always get a sun lounger no matter the time of day. We had a studio on the first floor with lovely views overlooking the gardens/pool area, where we loved sitting on our balcony in the morning with a cuppa. You are only a 5 minute walk to the beach, which is one of the nicest clear beaches we have been to in Europe and 15/20 minutes to Calvi Harbour front. Calvi itself was stunning with a wide choice of local restaurants. As mentioned on some of the previous reviews, you have to return the apartment clean and free of rubbish, which is no hassle, we would 100% return!! Thank You Christophe & Family.

Really didn't enjoy staying here, the apartment felt grubby and there was an awful smell when we arrived, tiny bathroom, wardrobe in the kitchen very uncomfortable bed, mattress dipped in the middle, had to take your rubbish to the council bins outside the property, it's OK if you like camping. Not sure what the 50 euros deposit was about as rooms not checked on departure. No cleaning stuff provided just a dustpan and brush! The grounds and pools are nice and it's in a good location that's the only plus point. Calvi is lovely the citadel is a must visit the views are fabulous, would return to Calvi but not to Le Home.
