Overall very good Good room size. Breakfast is off a menu and served. Only Negative A small bottle of water in the room was $2.50 if you are not a Hilton member.

After all, the entire hotel is a world brand. Overall cost-effective! The location is unique. It was touching to arrive at the airport to pick up guests late at night! The driver was enthusiastic and responsible. However, the service at the front desk was stiff and rigid! Lack of basic courtesy! It was a very simple matter, but it took 35 minutes to get the room card to check in! This happened at 2:30 in the morning. We were exhausted. The next morning, we talked to the lovely and amiable ** at the other front desk to find out; just to collect a deposit of 25 Canadian dollars (but no receipt or explanation was shown)... It left us with a bad impression.

I was very impressed with the hotel set up & it's very convenient when in Calgary. Room was very clean, spacious, modern, comfortable & with a lot of amenities available. There is a restaurant onsite & we were met by the front desk manager, Timothy Dichosa who was very attentive. He explained available hotel facilities. Will definitely be back. Timothy is a GEM. Keep him.

First time guest and it is a Hilton Garden so nothing spectacular Rooms were clean but dated. Furniture is vintage "wood" and nothing special. WiFi is slow My biggest beef with this location is that when I checked in all seemed good to go but when I got up to my room, it was very stuffy and no cooling was taking place and no fan from the HVAC system. When I called down to reception to request that someone come up to help me figure out how to use the system, I was told "there is a problem and the repair people are waiting for a part" ! Well that is fine but if you were aware of this issue and I checked in 5 minutes earlier, why not pre-warn me about the inadequacies of your hotel ?? How about a little basic customer service courtesy ?? I was told that I should "open my window" to cool things down from the 80 degrees when I first came into the room. The lack of honesty about the shortcomings demonstrates a lack of customer service training and basic honesty about a bad situation. I opened the window and experienced a good amount of road noise. Not sure what was worse ...

Eternal Wait for Pick-up
Waited for over an hour outside in the cold while waiting for pick-up. Was repeatedly told that van was 5 minutes away when in fact it had lot been sent because of lack of a driver. Had they told me the truth, I would have just taken a taxi.

The proximity and the breakfast option for the price point is what brought us here. The check in and check out where both easy. We ending up renting a car for the price of an Uber back and forth to the airport. We did not get charged a parking fee but we went during the month of February, so it was low season. That extra cost savings was a nice surprise. Overall cleanliness was good as well. We would definitely consider staying there again.
