This was one of the nicest places we've stayed at! The room was immaculate and modern. It's tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood but is close to other amenities. The service at the restaurant was exceptional; thank you, Don! There is so much character and history to this place, I highly recommend a stay here.

It had a great ambience and staff.. unfortunately the food and drinks fell very short. 3/4 dishes were severely overcooked with one being un-eatable. We really wish it was a different experience as we would have liked to return. Unfortunately I can’t see us returning.

Do NOT BOOK this hotel. They have black out dates that does not pop up or flag when you book the rooms. I followed the more than 48 hour rule to cancel the room without penalty and was told that its was during their blackout period and should have read the fine print. I’m really not even sure if that is legal. The hotel takes the full amount of the charge for the room at the time of booking, not at the time of check in and keeps the money regardless of when you cancel if it falls “in their black out period” that is not clearly identified when booking those dates. RIP OFF. Buyer beware, do not book.

The history of the building alone made it special, the grounds were really pretty. The staff was excellent, especially Don. It’s more like a boutique hotel.

We enjoyed the Inn. Suites our purposes perfectly. It is lovely to have the breakfast ala Carter included in the room booking. Definitely a plus…. We will stay here again and recommend it to others. The staff was fantastic…small hotel feel to it. When I got in too late for dinner one of the staff got me tea and a snack. Carried it to my room as I had my hands full. The bed and bedding was perfect and I am fussy. Excellent breakfast food was great and Don provided fast and friendly service. I will definitely be returning on my business trips to Calgary.

The staff were exceptional, specially during meal service, truly among the best in Canada. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were spotless and remarkably quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The location was also ideal, with a lovely park just across the street. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.
