Aparthotel Miami Park

Me and my friend came to callella hoping for a relaxing break , and it went wrong from day one , after booking this trip a a package holiday i was shocked when our transport dropped us off and gave no directions where the hotel was. After finally arriving at the hotel at 13.30 we were told that our room wouldn't be ready till 4. After hanging around and waiting at reception, I asked at 4pm if our room was ready to just be handed our key . The room itself was a good size and clean, but then realised there was no oven, just 2 hotplate and a microwave. We intended to cook for ourselves, and this was a problem. As the adult pool it was full of under 10 years old, which had lilos footballs and constantly jumped in . All against the pool rules, but nobody stopped them. No relaxing by the pool and constant noise from 8am till after 8pm if you had a poolview room. The pool closed at 7pm but again, no one enforced it. The last downside was we had to check out by 10am although the brochure said 12pm. If this was advertised as a family fun holiday I wouldn't moan , but with words like relaxation and adult time is a lie, and I had no relaxation, just stress. One more thing this aparthotel is advertised as beach front, it is not the beach is at least a 10 minute walk .

We booked as a family and had two separate apartments. The apartments were very small and only had two power points, one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen area. Both of the apartments were very clean and were cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided. The breakfast was not very exciting. Very small selection of hot food (one day there were no eggs), usual fruit for breakfast was melon accompanied by hard apples and peaches. Our apartments had a pool view, every sound was heard, every crying child etc. Staff were lovely, with the exception of the lady who served on the bar, who decided to police the pool area for people drinking their own drinks, and to tell people off who were drinking the drinks they brought to the pool instead of purchasing the expensive bar drinks. It is a self catering hotel. Meals out are expensive in the complex and also in Calella. You are looking at around 16 euros for a plain burger and chips. Calella is a strange town, with the railway running close to the beach and having a plethora of flats everywhere. We travelled to 3 stops along the coast, where we found ice creams to be half price to what they were where we were staying and indeed the small supermarket across the road. While appreciating this hotel was suitable for smaller children, older children and adults would find it not very stimulating and expensive.

This is an immaculate hotel, perfectly located with some superb staff. We arrived at 10am and couldn't be checked in until 4, however I'd previously emailed and explained about my sons autism and asked if we could use a quiet space for him to regulate and process the stimuli of the flight and airport. The response from the hotel was simply overwhelming. My room was cleaned and prepared first on that day and as a result we were given our key immediately. That was unbelievably helpful. Everyone made a real effort to help and asked repeatedly if everything was OK. The server (Tinie) was particularly attentive and simply wonderful. Rooms were cleaned daily and the maids were equally friendly. The chef had a great understanding of coeliac disease too, easing my concerns over dining there. Overall, fantastic. Thank you.

Stayed here as a base for the Wigan v Catalan match in Perpignan. Great location, about 500m from the beautiful beach and close to all the shops. Perfect location for a run along the beach and enjoying all the bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and the staff are very welcoming. Paid extra for breakfast which was excellent and enjoyed our free upgrade to a suite with a pool view. Check in was quick and efficient. Would definitely stay here again.
