It was extremely bad. There was no air conditioning in the room. The weather was the hottest when we went there. We communicated with the hotel, but they said they couldn't do anything and sent us away. They didn't even give us a fan. We asked them to send someone to fix it. After a day of urging, they finally came and said they couldn't fix it. This is how the room is. The air conditioning in the rooms of my friends in the same industry was great, but my room was more expensive than theirs. I was so angry. I have never stayed in such a bad hotel.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in..on arrival it looked like I've just stepped back into the 70s, rude receptionist. Hotel hasn't been cleaned or maintained in a very long time. Rooms are really dated and very grubby. Hotel smells off mold. Pool area was so dirty not once did we see anyone clean it, sweep the floor, clean floors. Dirt still on floor since we looked on first day. Cats everywhere, sleeping on your towels if you leave them. Told receptionist in second day there was cat diarrhea on the pool area floor, hour later, it was still there. Had to tell them 4 times to do something when they did , only cleaned the area it was. Food..didn't eat once in this 'hotel'..smelt and looked awful..hygiene was so bad and could only imagine how bad it could if what we can see is terrible what was it like behind the scenes. Been told that alot of people have cut there holiday short and just went home...honestly don't think about coming here. Holiday was a complete waste of time, had to go else where to sunbathe / relax as we just couldn't stay here.

After a late arrival delayed flight arrived at hotel only to find out it was a walk to hotel not good if you’ve got mobility problems nothing on jet 2 web sight hotel wasn’t too bad clean and tidy rooms cleaned daily food wasn’t too bad if your not a fussy eater we had ground floor pool area room there was a few downsides mainly rooms in need of decorating (but it is end of the season) and sunbeds are due a good steam clean or replacing plenty of shops and restaurants around but all in a nice chilled out 10 day break

This is a lovely hotel in a good location, it is next to the port in Cala Bona. There are lots of shops, bars and places to eat nearby and there are beaches in walking distance. The hotel staff were lovely, hotel itself was very clean and the food was lovely, I'm a very fussy eater and I always found something I could eat and there were a lot veggie options available. The only negative thing I can comment on is the beds were very hard and not top comfy but other than that everything was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel, can't understand why people are complaining about it!

Just back from a lovely week here staff very friendly and helpful. We had pool view room which was lovely and clean, cleaned everyday to a very good standard. Food was on the whole good, both in the pool bar and restaurant. Beautiful setting. Would definitely want to go here again

Really looking forward to this holiday, but was so disappointed. Location was great, right on the harbour. Room was at the back on first floor, overlooking the bin hut, dust cart woke us up at 6.30 every morning [ did ask for another room, but was told upgrade would cost 60euros a day ] . Wasnt prepared to pay that when overheard others being offered upgrade for 20euros a day. Foodwise, not a great deal of choice breakfast was usual stuff but cold. Dinner was the same with little choice and not tasty at all........that's if you found anything that you wanted. I am not a fussy eater but honestly I'd lost weight when I got home. Pool area was always full with the towel grabbers and to be honest didn't fancy lying amongst a load of cats, which were fed by the hotel probably. Wouldn't call it a friendly reception probably because I didn't take the upgrade lol. All in all not a good experience but Cala Bona is a really nice place , but won't be visiting again.

Probably the worst Hotel I’ve stayed in Spain The staff were miserable and unhelpful Except the Manager she was pleasant and helpful. We booked through LOVE HOLIDAYS,absolutely no customer care at all ,Advise booking with another holiday company. They didn’t see any problems with the rooms were allocated ( see pics)

Arrived later than expected due to terrible EasyJet shared transfer. Room was not as expected but after chatting to reception team paid to upgrade to the rooftop suite room 71. Totally amazing room with own plunge pool. Hotel is more of a 3 star plus. Has potential to be 4 star but some areas tired. Was not expecting food to be so good after reading some reviews. I’m a vegetarian and there was plenty of choice and all food was hot. We chose to seat outside and it was lovely overlooking the harbour. Drink very cheap. A lovely Rose and only 2.90 euros a glass. Staff nice and helpful when needed. The resort is lovely plenty of shops and other places to eat and drink. Overall a lovely stay.
