pro:
+10: Invincible river view
+10: Excellent room size and comfortable in-room facilities
+10: The bedding and bathroom supplies are very good
+5: Excellent service team
+5: Good laundry room
con:
-50: Is that breakfast or human feed? ! The salad bar has four sides of Taiquan™ vegetable leaves, four pots for hot dishes and only one meat dish. The sausages are real starchy sausages that would be disgusted by children even if they sold grilled sausages at the entrance of an elementary school. The juice is packaged, the bread is dry, and the pancakes are average. Between being incompetent and not doing it well, the fruits purchased by Guoqie seem to be deliberately smashing the Egyptian agricultural sign (to be honest, how do you buy non-sweet watermelons in Egypt? Huh?), all the things that can be eaten in the breakfast room Just cereal, milk, coffee, boiled eggs and fried eggs
I know that your restaurant on the M floor cannot be opened, but the unusual products are a bit too much. If I learn from your airport store, I will not deduct two points for service.

The most satisfying breakfast during my trip to Egypt! The breakfast closest to the Nile River, the environment is great, the breakfast ingredients are very fresh, and the taste is good.
The room environment is a little old, and it can't be compared with the same level in China, but after going to 5-star hotels in Aswan and Luxor, I feel that this one is super cost-effective, hahahaha

PROS:
Fantastic customer service! Eage to accommodate our needs.
Breakfast was excellent! It comprised a hot and cold buffet. Well organised too with assistants coming round to top up hot drinks.
Reasonably clean rooms although outdated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is also clean with hot running water, particularly in the winter!
CONS:
Once reaching our floor, it was disheartening seeing the difference in appearance and the level of standard compared to what the lobby looked liked. Also finding our room was like setting onto a maze to begin with but we soon got used to it.
We were put on a non-smoking floor but the smell of cigarettes was very strong.
The bedroom was outdated and in need of renovation in terms of carpet and decor and furniture (although the bed was probably the most comfortable bed ever). Again we became used to the dip in standards.
Overall would stay at the Safir again as the pros outweigh the cons.
Very Good

This is a place where you can relax in an East Asian atmosphere while in Egypt. The owner responds well when you contact him, and the room was clean, cute, and spacious.
You can use the washing machine for free, which was perfect for organizing your luggage before leaving the country.
Room service offers Chinese food, and the taste reminded me of home, which was a relief.
Early morning check-out was also no problem, and it's a place I'd like to stay at again.

The room is very clean, fully equipped and spacious. There is a restaurant that provides Chinese food. The boss's service is very good. If there is anything I don't understand, the boss will be eager to help. It is also very close to the Pyramid of Khufu and the Nile River; there is also Carrefour nearby where you can buy daily food and items within a 5-minute walk.

We booked this hotel on the last night of our trip to Egypt because of a serious flight delay. It is run by Chinese people and the sanitary conditions are much better than the so-called five-star resort hotels in Egypt that we have stayed in. The boss also cooked dumplings and hot and sour soup for dinner. The good service and friendly attitude made us feel much more relaxed. It was introduced that one of the staff of the homestay was a refugee from Sudan and was very talented. Just based on this conscience, I am willing to give it a high score.

It was my first time staying here. I saw the high ratings online and decided to try it out. It was worth the trip. The boss was very friendly and responsive. He answered my phone call in one second and listened to my requests patiently. I have to give him a thumbs up. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was soft and comfortable, the room had good lighting, and it was very quiet. It was also very convenient to take a taxi around. It was very close to the airport. The hotel was actually better looking than the photos. The layout was very reasonable and the facilities were very new. The sanitation was very clean, and the hotel management was very good. It was very quiet at night, and the pillows were especially comfortable. I slept well all night. The boss was very reliable. He replied in seconds every time I contacted him. I could also eat Chinese food made by the boss himself, which was very authentic and healthy. It soothed the Chinese stomach and made me feel the warmth of my family in a foreign country. If I hadn't followed the tour group later, I really wanted to stay here all the time. It is the first choice for Chinese people traveling in Cairo and I will buy this hotel again.
The room is spacious and the accommodation is clean and hygienic. There is also billiards and table tennis. The boss is very nice and answers all your questions. The Chinese food cooked by the black man is also very good. You can also buy and cook your own food. I recommend everyone to come.

Enjoy 4-star peace and quiet at Novotel Cairo 6th of October hotel, around 30 minutes' drive from the centre of Cairo and 20 minutes from the Great Pyramid at Giza. Pull up a deck chair and unwind under the palm trees or take a dip in the heated pool ( heated pool in winter season). Excellent
EEmilieGraceThis hotel is beautiful and breathtaking! It has an amazing pool and restaurants. However it is far from city center, it’s about 30-40 minutes away by taxi. It is a great spot for a nice get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a couple days. The staff was super helpful and were willing to go the extra mile to make sure my stay was enjoyable!
GGuest UserPerfect service with much appreciated The best Hilton I ever stayed at. I must mention special thanks for the below Farida Ibrahim Gaber from the reservation Ibrahim Shaltot Dina Hosna Hazem Zeinab Amr el wakil Mohamed Magdy Mohamed elsyed Omar the new comer From the restaurant: Syed Mohamed Fathy Mahmoud ataia
GGuest UserSwiss Inn Nile Hotel offers a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and spacious with beautiful views of the Nile. The staff are helpful and friendly and the service is excellent. The restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfast buffet is extensive. It is also geographically convenient and has good access to tourist attractions. The only improvement is that the Wi-Fi signal is sometimes weak. Overall, Swiss Inn Nile Hotel is a great and relaxing place to stay.
GGuest UserLovely smart hotel. Several restaurants. Massage and gym. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel nice sbd roomy. Rooms spacious. Would stay there again but if you want to be in the town centre with many shops you need to stay closer to city centre as this, was, about 30 minutes from airport. It didn't matter because everything is a short cheap taxi fare away. Also it's next to a military camp where you can see and hear the soldiers marching from your balcony. If the bugle noise bothers, you at 6am then maybe not for you. Also, but not related to the hotel you'll be woken up at 4am by the, wailing from the mosques but you can't really get away from that can you. The hotel I understand is, owned by the military and so you'll often see soldiers stay there. They weren't any trouble. In fact it made you feel safe.
AAnonymous UserIn general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights.
Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building.
* Location & Transportation
Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum.
And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price.
In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes
Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones.
Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it.
* Building and room conditions
Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room.
It is quite convenient a washstand in each room.
However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler.
It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel.
* Cleanness & Safety
Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this.
* Services
There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water.
Wifi is too weak to use the internet.
Other services like laundry are satisfied.
* Others
During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally.
In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better.
And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable.
Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.
GGuest UserNearby airport, shuttle bus from Terminal3 exit to hotel (or need to call for pickup +201147404400).
Room are clean and quiet.
However, if need early checkin, have to pay 30USD.
If need breakfast, it cost 10USD (it is not as mentionned for 46CNY)
GGuest Userif you got room number start from 5, which means your room is at the garden view room, that was very terrible, the facilities are super old and not clean there. You`d must better to ask the staff to change your room, the rooms in the main building are renovated, with nicer facilities and cleaner
shuttle bus is very convinient
GGuest UserThis hotel was better than expected. We didnt stay at our usual hotel as the prices for Cairo currently are very high so this was the first time at this hotel.
The location is really good - pharmacies, restaurants, kiosks and a Metro market all with 30 seconds walk of the hotel and of course Zamalek is really central so a good hub for Uber and getting around the city.
Prior reviews are pretty bad but we found the hotel incredibly clean, the side nile view room we had was large, well appointed, the furniture was certainly not tired and we were pleased with the room from a comfort and business perspective. WIFI worked well, a desk in the room and settee and the bed was GREAT.
They really dont have any facilities and there is no gym which is an issue for us but we knew this before booking but there are many gyms close by so dont let this be an issue - just GOOGLE!
The breakfast by Egyptian standards was alright. The big plus is the omlette/egg station and they also do morning crepes. Fruit, hot food section, breads,, salads etc and frankly it does the job. Egyptians do breakfast really well so although this is a bit below par on an Egyptian level - on a European level it is very good compared to your travelodges and Holiday Inn Express's in the UK.
The staff as always are friendly, attentive and yes you need to tip but this is the same in all Egypt - average tip is 20 EGP. Leave something to housekeeping and you will get lot of extras eg extra coffee etc.
I liked the hotel, the other reviewers I think may have been there as tourists expecting something different but frankly this is a good tourist class hotel and its always a good sign when you see Egyptians staying which there were.
GGuest UserI travelled in Egypt through April into early May, a good time to undertake the journey before the onslaught of intense summer heat. I am sole, independent traveller in my seventies and had pre-conceived ideas regarding the places I wanted to see and had researched modes of transportation. I arrived at Cairo Paradise Hotel, for which I have utmost praise. From reception to house-keeping, the staff are unfailingly courteous and helpful. My month in Cairo coincided with Ramadan and I was invited to partake of the evening meal at the break of fast. Ready to embark on my explorations, I soon realised that due to distances and piecing together public transport, considerable time and effort would need to be expended. I outlined my places to see wish list to Amr, the Hotel Touring Manager, who, with diligence application tailor-made an itinerary, including events and places off the ”tourist track” with drivers and at times, a guide. All came seamlessly to fruition with meetings at airports or train stations never failing to eventuate, at surprisingly low cost. I feel that I have captured the ”Essence of Egypt.”
