First time stayed in this hotel and my impression was
Unfortunately very bad due:
- no tualet paper
-no towel
- not clean
-we have staywd 4 nights and
Could not sleep well due to mosqitoe
Plus very poor breakfast.

Starting with entrance, it’s one the dirtiest entrance to the building ( dating back to 1970) hotel located on 4th or 5th floor Lift is scary with only 2 person fitting in that comfortably Reception area was full of smoke (cigarettes) and mosquitoes were present Rooms were dirty and smelly with broken door handles and broken draws The dining area on roof top was through filthy/smelly area. With no food hygiene considered, food was not edible. Staff at reception was not rude but most difficult to deal with They did jot have the room ready and blamed me for arriving late All in all worst experience I had there

If you are considering booking this hotel and you have arrived at this review, take my advice and find somewhere else, but do not stay here under any circumstances. We arrived in Cairo very late at night and it was practically impossible to find the entrance to the hotel. "Entrance" to call it something, because you have to go into a passageway and you arrive at a doorway that is filthy, old and where a homeless man sleeps in the stairwell. It is impossible to go up to the hotel because the stairs are a dump. LITERALLY. You can see from the photos what I mean. The lift is like a scary movie, dirty, half of the doors have no glass and it is built on the outside of the building and has no wall. When we arrived at the hotel, they made us pay in cash because they did not want to accept payment by credit card and we had to go, almost at one in the morning, to make a withdrawal at an ATM. The room we were given was not one of the beautiful rooms with new parquet floors shown on the website. It was a three-bed room, dirty, with a smashed floor and furniture and a filthy bathroom with a mouldy ceiling. We spoke to reception and told them that this was not the room we had booked and they told us to come the next day and they would change our room. When we went the next day, we were told that it was already late and there were no more rooms available. Besides all this, the breakfast is very poor, the wifi doesn't work at all and there is music and lots of people making noise in the cafe all day long. In short, the hotel is terrible and overpriced for the dump it is. I don't understand how Booking allows this type of establishment on their website. Also, if you look at the reviews, many of them have the same profile picture and the same name, but different country, so they are fake. I insist: DO NOT STAY THERE.

We stayed here two different times for our first time in Egypt. The first time, the hotel was okay and the service was good. Because of how affordable this hotel was, we weren’t expecting any more than what we got. The second time however, there was no soap or toilet paper in the bathroom, and the ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mold. There were no blankets and it was very cold. The breakfast is good and the people here are quite friendly. Just keep your expectations low for this hotel, and I would call it more of a hostel.

The hotel has a very good location close to Cairo city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel rooftop is the must of this hôtel. Only the cleanliness does not correspond to European standards but good experience overall;)

Firstly, it is difficult to find the entrance, as it is between two unmarked buildings. Absolutely nothing to do with the photos they show. The infrastructure is terrible and the rooms smell like cigarettes. They lie about all the amenities. Bad service, unprofessional workers. I don't recommend it at all. Any hostel half price is better. Money worse spent.
