Hotels in Cairns tend to be a bit on the pricier side, which is to be expected for a tourist city. This one is conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from the reef departure terminal, and there's a large chain supermarket nearby. The room was also quite clean.

It was a little far from the center, but it was only about a 10-minute walk, so it wasn't a problem. The room was clean and comfortable. The view from the window was also nice✨ There was no cleaning service, and the towels could only be changed at the front desk at the right time, so that was the only inconvenience💦

This booking is one of the rare ones I had serious dissatisfaction so I had to write a long review. First the information on the booking page is not fully transparent. We were only made aware that the 2 bedroom suite we booked does not offer daily room cleaning service. Cleaning service comes in only every 3 days of stay (so for 5 nights we stayed, the room was cleaned only once!) If this was well informed, I probably would not consider booking this room. Second, the service was almost non-existent. When they said clean towels can be offered upon request, the towels were literally left on the table top immediate behind the front door. On the “clean day”, we were amazed to find toilet brush and bin left on the closed toilet bowl, ants were spotted near the sink, tissue boxes were not refilled, and pillow cases had clear sign of dirty marks. Despite a 5-night stay, hotel didn’t allow any late check out beyond 12pm. Front desk insisted an hourly fee and different people were giving different fee rates. This was again confusing and disappointing. Pls also note overnight parking is charged at $12 per night. Breakfast offered at $28/pax had limited choices (basic international breakfast) Other than above, the room is generally clean. We didn’t have a chance to explore other parts of the hotel so no comment on the amenities. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to the pier and good selection of food options.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Although the room design is old style(not renovated one), the room is clean and the sea view is amazing. Great location especially to the meet up point of skydive and diving. Just 5 mins walk. Casino is just nearby so you don’t need to worry the night activities. Staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoy the stay a lot.

I stayed here twice - the first time, an ordinary room, the 2nd time, I thought maybe the Horizon Club might be a higher level. Before I say anything, I may choose to stay again for the location! This property is not 'Shangri-LA' as you would expect - the windows are all dirty which is disappointing for 'Marina View' rooms... The Horizon lounge furniture is closer to school lunch hall style, and the dinner - well, I don't eat in food halls with sausage rolls and spring rolls. We ate in the main street which was AWESOME!. The ping pong table is bent, bats are without surface, and the air hockey machine without pucks.. Basically a 'cashing in on the brand' experience...

I stayed during my child's spring break. First of all, you should not mistake it for understanding that this is not a hotel, but an apartment. It's a very nice place if you can prepare your own things and buy them as needed. Good access to Cairns shopping centers and major facilities, no problem with rental car parking spaces, the pool is only for guests, so you can use it almost for charter, and you can use the veranda freely. Above all, I liked the owner's friendly greeting and wanted to stay more. We booked from the day before arrival because the flight from Japan was early in the morning, but we were able to tell us how to enter the room in advance by email, so we took a shower and rested and played well from the afternoon I was able to! What I'm glad I brought with me was body soap and soft tissue, and what I wanted was a tephron-processed frying pan? I can't think of anything in particular ... Basically, you can buy anything at the supermarket or the object shop opposite! Have a nice trip!

I read reviews saying it was old, but after arriving I found it was beyond my expectations, clean and tidy, the facilities were well maintained, each room had a small terrace, the soundproofing of the old hotel was a little poor, and the breakfast was ordered, which was excellent.

The apartment is located at a very good location. All the apartments come with first-line sea view. There are lots of celebrity restaurant nearby. Minutes' walk to the great barrier reef ferry terminal, Lagoon, Night Market. Very spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms, seperate laundry, and a large balcony. We chilled in the balcony with drinks, looking at the ocean. The building comes with 2 pools, spa, and sauna. Good security with intercom and elevator access control. The only downside is the fitting is a bit dated and some ants in the apartment. But it doesn't affect the holiday. I would recommend this place for family holiday.

There is a sofa bed, it seems that it can also be an extra bed, the kitchen utensils are very uniform, and it is comfortable to cook.

The room is very suitable for family travel, the facilities are very full, slightly older, but the transportation is convenient and comfortable. It is also convenient to rent a car around, big supermarket, seaside, and so on. The price here is very good, mainly a family room with a kitchen!
