The Ramada by Wyndham Cairns would be one of if not the worst hotel for cleaning standards
There was hair in the bath tub and on the walls surrounding the bathtub
The bath towels were stained if not properly washed.
Bedding had marks on it and the TV screen was dirty and hard to see a clear picture.
All the louvres in the room were covered in dust. The toilet flush button got stuck and I had to try and release it so it would flush.
Plumbing was noisey when other rooms were using water.
When reporting to reception on check out the only response was sorry about that.

The room was spacious and great for relaxing, but the Wi-Fi connection was pretty bad...
It felt like there was barely any signal outside the reception area

Team was very friendly and helpful.
Location is great, you have the esplanade close by as well as all the touristic thing.
We had a great sleep thanks to their very comfy bed and quiet street, bathroom need some upgrading but you still have all the necessities bathtub and all.
The pool was close for renovation but the lagoon at the esplanade is well worth the walk.
Would definitely go back :)

The hotel is located near the beach and is convenient to go anywhere. The city double room I booked was a bit dark on the first floor, so I added 50 Australian dollars to change to a large balcony suite upstairs. Not bad.
