Ramada By Wyndham Cairns City Centre

So is good..........................................

Unfortunately the pool was going through some maintenance and we were not able to use it, but the location was 10/10. So close to the esplanade and to all the amenities that Cairns has to offer. The room was okay, basic but it was clean and nice to come back to after a full day exploring we had a family room with access to the terrace which was pretty nice and good for the kids to play in.

- Old and Run-Down Facilities: the property is “very old” and “not up to a Ramada standard.” Rooms were outdated, tatty, and in desperate need of renovation - Cleanliness Issues: encounters with cockroaches, dirty bathrooms, musty smells and stained or dusty amenities - Broken Appliances: the air conditioning was not working in hot and humid cairns. - Unprofessional Staff: unhelpful and unfriendly after hours staff. - Overall Experience: the worst hotel to stay. “My advice to anyone considering staying here—please book elsewhere!”

The Ramada by Wyndham Cairns would be one of if not the worst hotel for cleaning standards  There was hair in the bath tub and on the walls surrounding the bathtub  The bath towels were stained if not properly washed.   Bedding had marks on it and the TV screen was dirty and hard to see a clear picture.   All the louvres in the room were covered in dust.  The toilet flush button got stuck and I had to try and release it so it would flush.   Plumbing was noisey when other rooms were using water.  When reporting to reception on check out  the only response was sorry about that.  Highly not recommended
