We spent a week at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica to celebrate our honeymoon and were so pleased we picked a Pueblo Bonito property. We really enjoyed the adults-only vibe at Pacifica but also visited Sunset Beach and Rosé for dinner two nights. In the end, the restaurants at Pacifica were our favorite meals. Ana and Javier were particularly memorable wait staff at Siempre for breakfast and lunch. Rafa, Louis, and Hilario were fun to chat with at the pool bar and we never waited long for drinks, even with two wedding parties happening on property during our stay. We also really enjoyed our server at Peninsula for our final dinner but unfortunately forgot his name. Truly every staff member we encountered was so friendly, eager to be helpful, and gracious. Speaking of food, we took advantage of the cooking class offered by the resort and ended up being the only couple that day. Chef Carlos was so knowledgeable, fun to talk to, passionate about cooking food people will love, and has worked at some world renowned restaurants and hotels which no doubt is showcased in the quality of the dishes at all of the Pacifica restaurants. Florinda, the server who assisted at the class was exceptional in every way. On top of making sure we had everything we needed and our drinks were always full (and cold!), she shared stories about her life with us, celebrated our love with us, and is just such a wonderful human. As a couple who deeply appreciates cooking and sharing food with friends, the opportunity to connect with new friends over great food was one of the absolute favorite parts of our trip. The spa was very nice and peaceful. The hot stone massage is a 10 out of 10 and the massage therapist made sure I was comfortable the entire time. We would also recommend taking advantage of any excursions you’d like through the hotel concierge. We did two with Cabo Adventures and both were excellent. Working through the concierge made transportation to and from very simple. They were not as helpful in regard to on property (or sister property) questions and often pushed us to another department. We would also definitely recommend renting a cabana on the beach for a day of deep relaxation if that’s your thing. The servers were helpful but not intrusive and on such a private, quiet beach, it’s a dream. Ask for one of the remotes they have at the pools if you want to make sure you can get the servers attention easily. Also - the wifi works out there if you’d like to watch your favorite sports team lose like we did! The option to visit the sister properties is a great perk of staying at Pueblo Bonito. We used this for dinner two nights and while we ended up preferring the meals at Pacifica, we were grateful to get to scope out the family-friendly resorts to bring our daughter on our next trip. We wished we would have checked out the sky pool at Sunset Beach. We are all in on Pueblo Bonito properties!
