Хороший спокойный отель. Небольшой, так что посетителей немного. Очень вкусная кухня. Завтраки по большей части из яиц, однако комбинаций гарнира достаточно чтобы разнообразить дни. Вкусные коктейли.
Подходит для тех кто хочет спокойствия и уединения после нунгви.
Немного необычный вид номера. Возможно это лофт. Всё выполнено из бетона, даже тумба для раковины. Монументально и необычно. Раньше с таким не встречался.
Из минусов только расположение номера. Наш балкон выходил на кухню ресторана, так что был чисто номинальным.

Mayai Ocean is a fantastic boutique hotel on Zanzibar’s beautiful East coast. All the staff at this hotel from the reception, to the waiters/bar staff, to housekeeping and maintenance were wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom had lots of hot water and good water pressure. Relaxing was easy at Mayai, with lots of areas to choose from; from loungers on the beach, to loungers around the lovely pool, to ones in the shade for when the Zanzibar sun got a bit to much! We used the concierge services to arrange swimming with dolphins, taxi to Stone Town and diving, which was easy and efficient. Thank you Rita! This place was really the perfect place to end our Tanzania experience.

Partendo dal presupposto che se si viene nella zona sudest di Zanzibar si predilige il relax piuttosto che la "movida' del nord, lati positivi del resort sono le dimensioni ridotte e quindi tutto molto vicino e a portata di mano senza trascurare la tipicità del luogo, ristorante/bar alla carta di buona qualità con prezzi giusti, personale cordiale e buona pulizia. Aspetti negativi, nessun servizio organizzato, ne diurno ne serale per intrattenere in qualche modo il cliente e la parvenza di poco sicuro al di fuori delle mura perché immerso in un villaggio di capanne locali. Se scegliete questo è perché volete assoluto relax e meglio senza bambini, potrebbe essere benissimo categorizzato in adult only (questo un mio consiglio per il resort)

Perfekt för avkoppling
Hotellet var helt underbart, god mat, fräscht på rummet och allmänna utrymmen, trevlig personal. Ett extra plus var sällskapsspelen dom hade i restaurangen som man fick låna gratis.

L’hôtel est incroyable. Il est intimiste, au bord de plage et le personnel est tout simplement aux petits soins.
Pour avoir dîner dans plusieurs autres hôtels, je ne regrette aucunement mon choix. Le restaurant est très bien.
La masseuse Anna est incroyable.
Chambre nettoyée tout les jours si vous le souhaitez.
Rien à redire.
