Hotels in Nampodong, Busan

The room is sparkly clean. Location is just a block away from subway station, but there’s a lot of food stalls downstairs and can get a bit messy during weekends as many people were drunk. We were at the 7-11 just across the hotel and witnessed a fight. Otherwise, everything is great.

Room is as pictured. Lobby is has good facilities (massage chair, computer). Although there were only 2 options for breakfast, it was nice and filling. Location is great with BIFF square right downstairs and shopping street behind the building. Train station was about 7 mins walk away and there is an entrance to the underground shopping street outside hotel building too. Jagalchi market just 5 min walk away. No toiletries provided but has vending machine selling toiletries in lobby. Will stay again

The water pressure is very low and we have to suffered for two nights before getting it fixed. Other than that the location is fantastic as it’s near Nampo staton

First time visitor to Busan and I read a lot of reviews. The Stanford Busan is extremely well priced for its 4 star rating. The room may be 17m2 but it was definitely comfyfor two adults. The location is excellent - 1. one street from the seafood market 2. A few hundred metres to the Gagalchi subway entrance 3. Across the street from the BIFF market and lots of street foods in the evening. This makes it easy to get the train back to Busan station (a few stops) when getting back to Seoul by train (although ubers are inexpensive). The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was functional. There was a bit of evening noise from the street below but nothing to keep me awake. Overall, highly recommended (given the pricing on offer).

Nice hotel 10 minutes walk from KTX station in Busan. Ideal if you arrived late at night and need to spend 1-2 nights. Clean and quiet. We lived on the 7th floor, because I read in previous reviews about the long wait for the elevator and asked for a low floor in advance. But we had no problems with this - one elevator goes only to even floors, the second to odd floors and the third to all floors. It makes sense to call based on your floor. On Saturday morning we waited for the elevator for a maximum of 3 minutes. Korean-style breakfast, not very varied, but filling. Also at check-in they gave us a good cosmetic set as a gift. All in one, a good place for your 1-night sleep and for that kind of money.

This is an apartment style hotel with an equipped kitchenette, about 10 mins walk from Busan KTX, and near Jung-Ang metro station. Hotel has pretty complete facilities with a cafe and convenience store in the ground floor. The room was minimalist but comfortable, with a view of the Busan harbour. The front desk staff is friendly and conversant in English. As compared to areas such as Seomyeon or Haeundae, you will find that this is a quieter side of town, but if you look closely can find nice gukbap and Milmyeon as well as the ”40-Steps” attraction.

The location is excellent. About a 1-minute walk from Jagalchi Station. About a 2-minute walk to the taxi stand. There is a convenience store in front of the hotel. It is located on BIFF Street, and BIFF Square, Gwangbokro Fashion Street, Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, Gukje Market, and Jagalchi Market are all within walking distance. The night food stalls are right below the hotel, so there are no toilet problems and I was able to eat and drink with peace of mind. It was fun. The interior is new and clean. The view from the 18th floor was also excellent. However, this hotel seems to be jointly managed by several hotels, and there are many hotel names, so I got lost when I arrived. There is no check-in or check-out procedure, just enter the number sent to you and enter directly. It was very easy.

I had a wonderful stay at Ocean to Heaven Hotel & Spa, which is just a short walk from Jagalchi Market, one of Busan's most famous landmarks. The hotel’s location is perfect if you're interested in exploring the bustling fish market and nearby attractions like BIFF Square and Gukje Market. + Proximity to Attractions: It's in a prime location for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the local culture, especially the seafood scene. Jagalchi Market is right nearby, and you can easily access other spots in the Nampo-dong area. + Ocean Views: Even though it’s close to the market, the hotel offers stunning views of the harbor and the surrounding coastline. The sea-facing rooms are a highlight — waking up to the view of the port was such a relaxing experience. + Modern Spa Facilities: The spa services are one of the key draws for this hotel. After a day of exploring the city, I loved indulging in the wellness treatments, which were perfect for unwinding. The atmosphere inside the hotel feels luxurious and calm, a contrast to the hustle and bustle outside. + Comfortable Rooms: The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with modern décor. I found the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom had high-end fixtures, making it a very pleasant stay overall. + Service: The staff were very welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with directions or recommendations. They made me feel right at home, and the level of service really enhanced the experience. - Price: Like many upscale hotels in the area, the rates can be on the higher side, especially during peak seasons. However, considering the location and quality of the facilities, it felt like good value for money.

The Commodore Hotel Busan is an excellent option for those looking to get to know this region of Busan, which is famous for its various tourist attractions such as the Busan Tower. The hotel's infrastructure is great and the environment decorated like a Buddhist temple is an attraction in itself. The rooms we stayed in were very comfortable, Good beds and impeccable cleaning service. The hotel has an indoor warm pool, a small gym but the best attraction in my opinion is the diverse and abundant buffet breakfast. Free parking. It is worth checking.

Hotel overall was good. Rooms were large enough, clean and amenities were ample. Although luggage assistance would have been appreciated; instead staff stood behind the reception looking at you struggle. The staff at the breakfast venue were not friendly; pity as they were all very pretty and a smile and a greeting would definitely be appreciated.
