Hotels in Gwanganri Beach, Busan

A very nice hotel in a great location just on the beach with plenty of shops and good restaurants nearby. One or two things to note when staying here. There are only Korean electrical sockets ( no usb charging ports for example) so bring an adapter or buy one from 7-11 next door ( i walked to a few shops and this was the cheapest). I didn’t have breakfast, but opted to buy something from a local bakery each evening. The bed pillows i thought were actually quite uncomfortable , not sure if the hotel offers other options. Didn’t ask. Check in time is a strict 3pm, so if like me you arrive in Busan at 7am, plan to hang out at a spa for a few hours . When i arrived at the hotel at 2pm i asked to check and even though the room was ready they said i had to pay a little extra to check in early . Hmm. Plan accordingly. Check out is at 11am, an extra 30,000krw per hour late check out. I am not convinced security is 100 % secure as anyone could walk in from the outside and access the lobby elevator to the guest floors. Hmm. As mentioned location is excellent, you couldn’t ask for better. Restaurants ( try the tofu soup restaurant at the back of the hotel!🤤), bars, coffee shops, the beach! And no noise in guest rooms from outside. For all the negatives i have said, I will still definitely be back

This was, without a doubt, the best hotel I've ever stayed at! My military boyfriend and I visited after a long time apart, and we were both incredibly touched by the amazing hospitality and service. My boyfriend couldn't stop raving about it either! 🩵🩵 We'll definitely be back again. Thank you so much!

New hotel with island vibes aesthetic. Staff are friendly and speak enough English. Only thing to criticise is the breakfast. Coffee was good, but the food is a set menu and not buffet. It is a small mediterranean platter, sausage, salad, some bread and hummus. The breakfast was OK, but no choice at all for the menu, no way to change foods (since I don't eat pork) and no alternative dishes. It is also a small meal. For the money, and compared to peers, I expected much better food. That aside the hotel is very pleasant the pool on the 3rd floor is unusual for Korea and a great feature.

Excellent location and room is so clean and comfortable, with excellent views of the beach and the famous diamond beach. I can even watch the Sat drone performance from my.room. It is about 20min to the train station though but it is not too pricey to take cab there. Breakfast was cooked by an Oma san and i love the Koean breakfast , they offer some.ham and cheese and pastries as well. Staff was helpful.and they tried their best to help me.with my questions in English. I strongly recommend to stay there .

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights recently and it was a really beautiful location. It's directly across from Gwangali beach, which meant that waking up every morning we could hear the ocean and from our terrace we had a great half-view of the beach. The amenities provided were towels, hair dryer, hair straightener, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The room was a little small but it was very comfortable. It felt a little more like an airbnb than a hotel, as it had a kitchenette and washing machine. The tv had netflix and youtube premium as well, so overall the experience of staying here was positive! The only negative thing is that there is no front desk and there isn't a direct way to speak to staff if you need something. Additionally, theres's only 2 elevators and they get crowded very easily, as the building has 20 floors.

Location and view are amazing, unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviews in relation to everything else. The hotel did not serve breakfast despite the website saying so, and the room and general areas are worn down or just not even finished. The room appeared to be half decorated. Also to note, the windows on the higher floors have no security locks and swig wide open…I was solo travelling but would not have felt safe if kids were in the room. The toilet flush didn’t work, the bathroom smelled strong of sewerage and the aircon also didn’t work at all. The lady at the front desk tried her best, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want to relax in Busan, there are far better places within the same price range.

I went to the most famous Central Bay Hotel in Gwangalli, Busan. It's impossible to make an appointment on weekdays, If you want a Guangan review, you need to book quickly. I had a city view because I was on a business trip, but I was sorry. The hotel has a gym. There are no facilities such as breakfast buffet. It's just a ”view restaurant”, and there's a lot of convenience stores around. They sold toothbrushes and razors as basic amenities. Please refer to it and have a good trip. *The air conditioner is too strong to catch a cold is also a tip. (It was set to 26 degrees)

It's quite close to the beach. The parking lot is spacious. It's very quiet at night. Good value for money.

This is my third time staying here, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The hotel boasts beautiful views, excellent cleanliness, and great service. However, I had money stolen from my bag by another guest. I had inadvertently left my bag on a sofa. The individual took my bag into their room, then went down to the basement, spending some time in a CCTV blind spot, before eventually returning the bag to the lobby. Unfortunately, local laws prevented any charges from being pressed against this South Korean individual. This incident, however, is not a reflection of the hotel's quality; the hotel itself is excellent in every aspect. I simply wanted to caution others that even here in South Korea, such incidents of theft can occur.
