Pay more and sleep somewhere else
It's not just cheap, it's dirty, moldy, and smelly..
The bedding was dirty, so I slept wearing a long padded jacket...

I arrived at Haeundae after 12 o'clock and found a cheap place to stay. It was basically a motel and looked old, but it wasn't too dirty and I was able to spend a day with good value for money. It was close to both Haeundae subway station and the beach.

The location of this hotel is great - only a city block away from Haeundae subway station. The building is small with only 6 floors but the rooms are private enough. My room was also clean and had amenities like disposable toothbrushes and free instant coffee with hot pot. It also had a compact fridge but no safe. This place is like one step about a love hotel, and also near the Gunam St. Square (the boardwalk area that stretches out to Haeundae Beach. The service was prompt - even for a shower head that broke during my stay, hotel staff came right away and replaced it. I could easily come back here again on my next trip to Busan.

Transfer to Line 2 from the Airport Light Rail and get off at Haeundae Pedestrian Street. It's very close to the beach and very convenient to travel. There is a big bus station (don't take the wrong direction). There are vehicles in all directions. You can walk to the lights of Gwangalli Bridge at the beach at night. The room is OK, the price is affordable, and the service is quite polite. Because I stayed for four consecutive days, I didn't ask for room cleaning. I took the initiative to ask if I wanted to change the garbage bag.
