The hotel itself is clean and there are no particular problems.
(If I had to say one thing, it was very difficult to adjust the shower temperature, and it was so hot! cold! that I couldn't take a bath peacefully.)
The one person who made me feel very uncomfortable was the male front desk staff at check-in. Since I am Japanese and don't understand Korean or English, I didn't understand anything even after they explained it to me, so I tried to ask again, but he said, "That's the end of the explanation," and went into his own world without even looking me in the eye.
The front desk staff didn't even say a word to me when I went out or when I returned to the hotel from outside.
Maybe he was a robot?
To top it off, when I asked to use the restroom after checking out, I was flatly refused, saying that there were no restrooms available. That was the end of it. I understand that that's the rule, but was that the only way they could respond?
It was cold in Busan after the COVID-19 pandemic, but what should have been a fun trip ended on a bad note.
I'm Japanese and I think that good communication and consideration are basic service, but it was disappointing because I felt like I was dealing with emotionless robots. I probably won't choose this place again.
