We had the pleasure of staying at this resort last month, and enjoyed the insight of visiting other accommodation booked by other family members who also travelled to Norfolk for the family gathering. A continental breakfast was included in our booking and that was adequate for our needs. A full hot breakfast can be paid for separately but we didn't partake of that. The facilities are lovely. We had an upgrade to a suite, thanks to a fortunate change of heart by the people who had booked the room prior to our arrival. Our verandah overlooked the acreage gardens and the distant airport. We had an interesting experience watching some bright lights playing over the western sea at night. They remain unidentified and were flying objects so you figure it out. Bright red changing to white through orange and flying in zigzag patterns and circular patterns off the coast. Anyway, the resort is well positioned for spectacular sunset photos. Well positioned all round actually. It's an easy stroll to the RSL for the best value meal in town. Value meaning both quality and price, although I don't recommend going when the bingo is on, unless you like bingo of course. They have a great bar for a nice glass of plonk before dinner which we enjoyed with family around the large table overlooking the pool. Cars are available for hire on a daily basis. We had a white cube. Hilarious but great for fitting in wheelie walkers if you need to help out older rellies or travelling companions. The car was waiting for us at the airport. The keys were in the car. That's how you know you're on Norfolk lol. The resort has lovely gardens, friendly visiting chooks and a delightful service team. I would say 'the' place to stay from my perspective. J and T

We enjoyed a great week at the hotel in March 2025. The staff were most helpful and the hotel loaned my wife a walker for the week we were there which was most appreciated. Gluten free breakfasts were great. All in all a great time to relax and have all our needs catered for.

Beautiful clean hotel. Stayed in a spacious suite with comfortable bed. Had continental breakfast and car included in our package. Ate dinner at restaurant a couple of times and food was well prepared, presented well and delicious. Staff attentive, friendly and helpful. Gardens, pool and view from our balcony lovely. Close to Burnt Pine and could easily walk. Would definitely stay again.

We had no problems with the resort. The garden room was comfortable & clean although did get a bit hot when closed up but once the windows and both doors opened you would get a lovely breeze come through. Unfortunately, we caught a gastric bug that was going through the resort, and I thought management could've put in some procedures to help prevent spreading as 5 out of 7 in our group got sick at the end of our holiday...

The rooms are very dated and black mould in the bathroom. The screen door was filthy dirty all furniture beds etc very dated and very uncomfortable. The ceiling fan was covered in dust and rusty, the iron and ironing board was useless. Staff are not very friendly I was only greeted hello once my whole stay, restaurant was not open for dinner whole stay we were not notified prior arrival. When I asked staff about Dinner at the restaurant she said no it is closed and no sorry explantion. The BBQ was a disgrace no way you could of cooked on it. All cereal at the breakfast was stale very limited choices, canned fruit 1 variety and 1 variety of yoghurt, and toast. Coffee was horrible could not drink it. We ended up going else where for breakfast a number of times. Never saw any staff doing too much at all no cleaning in common areas no maintenance work being done when there is alot of that needed, do not stay here ever.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a little stuffy. Hot water was sometimes difficult to get working. I was disappointed the weekly meet and greet advertised was not on because it was a quiet period. But thanks for the drinks voucher!

Good Hotel, clean and tidy this is a good resort, however no air conditioning, heater or fan in the room made it a bit uncomfortable during my stay. The room was fine but beware of very small internet availability and cost. Had to buy a new simm card for phone as Norfolk has no roaming facility on any carrier.
