Wow! I made my book direct and from my initial phone call enquiry to check-out I could not help smiling inside. The Staff went totally above what I expected. The hotel's rental cars were fully booked but they arranged a car with another company for me. So stress free! The room was very comfortable and had a great view across the valley. Spectacular colours in the early mornings, and at Sunset. Continental Breakfast was included in room rate. My only criticism is that I felt the Wi-Fi charges were too high for the data allowance.

My friend and I came to Norfolk Island as part of a group of Queensland Quota members to celebrate Norfolk Island Quota’s 45th anniversary. We stayed in the Eveleen suite and it was spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The resort is in a great position within walking distance to the town, although I would advise hiring a car as Norfolk Island is so much more than just the town.

We spent 8 days at the South Pacific Resort Hotel located on Norfolk Island. Rooms were pleasant and serviced everyday. Rooms were clean. We were part of a Scenic tour group, so breakfast was had every morning at the resort. Good breakfast. We also had lunch on occasions as with dinner and this was of a good quality. The resort is within 5-10 mins walk of the Burnt Pine shopping area. we would recommend this Resort hotel. Thank you

South Pacific Resort Hotel was a great pic for our trip to amazing Norfolk Island. Ideally located close to Burnt Pine and historic Kingston, the room was spacious, views were lovely, bathroom was clean, breakfast was decent and the welcome was warm. We hope do go back someday!

I was made very welcome from day one. Facilities are very clean, rooms really comfortable & roomy. Daily service of room cleaning. Dining area so friendly & accommodating. Nothing was any trouble to all staff. If & when I return to Norfolk Island, this will be my preference for accommodation. So close to town & food outlets.

Room was excellent, very clean and tidy. Meals were great, excellent choice of meals for dinner, Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance into town. Definitely will be coming back in the future.. will be a beautiful place (definitely need some rain though) for a group/family holiday.

A nice place to relax! The South Pacific Resort has nice facilities, a good restaurant & a nice cocktail bar. The staff were all great; they showed the best of Norfolk Island. The Resort is next door to another hotel whose Friday night 2-for-1 cocktail hours are impressive, and across the street from the RSL (more great food at good prices). Despite a week of walking everywhere, I gained weight!

Having been to Norfolk a few times we know what to expect in terms of the standard of accommodation in most places. It tends to be clean but a little on the rustic side. This hotel is no different. The place is stuck in a time warp but I also know how difficult it would be to renovate not to mention the cost. We had a superior room which was clean but definitely showing its age with a lot of scuffs and marks everywhere. I also could not believe how much branding there was on everything - pillows, sheets, cups, plates, towels etc - seems slightly mad and unnecessary. The rooms are warm and you will be thankful for any cross breeze. In fact adding ceiling fans would fix this issue really easily. The beds are REALLY uncomfortable. They have almost no support and if the other person in the bed moves it is like a tsunami rolling through the bed. Other odd things are the small TV which cannot be seen (or rotated to be seen) from the couch, water jug not being filled, giant key ring and dinner.... I have never stayed anywhere where I have to pre-order dinner and have that done by 4:00 pm. Also asking for our dinner to be at 7:30 pm was far too late. The latest they would do this was 6:45 pm. We decided to order and when in our room we were then advised that as we were the only two guests dining that would we mind our meal as room service. No real issue. That said we went to the lobby bar for a drink (the only people there on a Saturday night) and the staff were happy to serve our meal there. This was significantly better. The food itself was fine, a bit expensive for what it was. The staff were quite friendly and very polite. Overall the stay was fine but will choose elsewhere for our next visit.

Via Scenic Tours we stayed at this resport for 7 days in March 2024 From start to finish the hotel was excellent The staff were attentive and most helpful Our room, although not new, was clean and well equipped, bed comfortable. Breakfast and several dinners were very good, although we missed the unavailability of fresh fruit. The location was a short walk from the shops. I have already verbally recommended this resort to my friends, also advocating Scenic as the best tour company.
