Burgundy Hotels with Gym

A beautiful place, unique in its architecture and decor. It’s an old building that turned into a hotel . The hotel is in the center of Beaune close to all the shops and 10 minutes away from the vineyards. The staff are very friendly. Each room in the hotel is different. Very classic and historic, yet modern quality.

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. We spent one night at this hotel on the way to Italy and another night on the way back. The location of the hotel on the outskirts of Dijon was perfect for this. The hotel is positioned by a large shopping centre with plenty of places to eat, although the hotel did also have its own restaurant and bar. The breakfast was not included in our package but was a reasonable price and provided a good selection of food and drink. We had a superior room which provided more space and a large, modern bathroom with a view overlooking the pool in the wellness centre. The room could have been of a high quality but was let down by the standards of cleaning. Everything seemed a bit dusty and there could have been more attention to detail when cleaning and vacuming to bring this up to the standards you would expext from a 4 star hotel. The hotel claimed to offer a pillow menu but when I enquired about better pillows as ours were very lumpy and broken up, I was told that they were the only pillows they had and that all of them were like this. That said, it was a comfortable place to stay and we went back for the way home. It could achieve a 5 star review with a bit more effort though.

When looking for a hotel with EV charging, it is pretty much pot luck isn’t it? Both Booking.com and TA can’t tell us the type of charger - fast, slow, Tesla etc. I urge these agencies to take their travellers into the 21 century and provide these filters. This hotel surprised the life out of me. Not only were there a bank of fast chargers in the garage, but the premium for usage was very reasonable. Only problem, as always, was a Belgium Q8 parked in charging bay with a thundering V8 diesel engine - when can we educate these people? Charging for my I-Pace was a doddle. The rooms are well appointed and have all that you could want and the bar is well stocked and staff are multi-lingual. We eat out in a favourite restaurant and will most certainly put this on our itinerary for our regular Provence trips.

Comfortable bed, good blackout blinds and spacious shower but the additional extras in the room were not at all generous. One small bottle of water between two on the first day, small tubes of shampoo and shower gel not replaced on the third day, no shower cap. Fabulous views from the sky bar. Fantastic breakfast with all you could wish for. We were initially disappointed not to be allocated on-site parking but ”Parking A” just around the corner was so much better! Cheaper (12 euros against 15 euros) and lots of room, in fact it was almost empty! Our friends had on-site parking and said it was really tight. You can only use the pool if you book a 2 hour slot in the spa which I think was 25 euros. Great location for walking to restaurants and around town.

The breakfast is good, the fly is flying; the hotel interior is very well decorated, the typical French modern style, the room is also very big, the only thing is that there is no elevator, the pool is a bit simple, there is no beauty; there is parking lot, close to the top of Burgundy The wine producing area; the hotel has no front desk, open office, and has a close relationship with the guests, but it is easy to see the flaws in their work, there is no efficiency, but this is a common problem of the French, and the enthusiasm can resolve all the deficiencies.

Excellent accueil avec un Personnel toujours très souriant et serviable. Les chambres sont agréables et assez grandes avec une bonne literie. La salle de bain est pratique et les wc séparés. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et le jus d’orange frais appréciable.

Just by the side of the highway. Easy access to Beaune center by car, not on foot though. Room is nicely designed and the bed is comfortable. Got pool and other facilities for children. A pleasant stay as a whole.

I was very surprised how nice this hotel was considering the price. I was looking for a place for one night while on a bike tour near Dijon. I think I got the last room available. It had two twin beds, which I would normally not get. But I am glad I did. The room was super clean and had such a pretty view of the rolling country down below. Also the room had automatic external shades which really helped darken the room in the morning. It was a very welcoming staff and they let me store my bike in a storage room. I will warn that if you are on a bike, the hotel is located after a long-ish hill ride up. Great for views, but it's work to pedal up to. I would definitely stay here again
