La VIE Recoleta

Pros- clean and good location Cons- did not offer basic needs. Provided one towel and one hand towel only, one roll of toilet paper for an 8 day stay. There is oven but no oven mitts or baking sheets. Bed did not have sheets or pillow cases. There is no where to sit to eat. The stools are too tall to sit at the counter. There is a nice balcony but absolutely no furniture out there to enjoy it. The pans all are damaged with handkes falling off so be prepared to use towels to hold the pan while you cook. After contacting owner, they dropped off only one additional hand towel and one additional roll of toilet paper. Communication was poor, reached out numerous times 24 hours before check in to get directions on how to get access to apartment with no response. They finally responded after 5pm the day of checkin, so we were waiting hours before getting access to the room. It is clean, safe and good location. Just be prepared to go shopping for not only food but kitchen, bathroom and bedroom supplies as they do not provide them.

Nice(ish) Apartment Overall, this was great quality for the price. + Great location. Convenient to subway, buses, shopping, and food. + Relaxing walk or short subway ride to many attractions + Grocery/convenience stores nearby + Walkable neighborhood + Very spacious with natural lighting. + Friendly host :) - Neighbors can be loud - Linens/ towels are stained - Surface level clean. I would stay here again. -

Reserved a room with "1 king bed and 1 sofa bed", arrived to find 2 single beds and 1 sofa with a pull out bed. Pull out bed was stained, as was the sofa. Kitchen was equipped for what was needed. We had previously stayed at the property in another apartment however this one did not match the expectations.
