Hotel was good but a little dated and a strange smell on our landing. Room was too warm but air con didn’t seem to do anything and radiator was broken. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. Good location for Margaret Island but we needed a taxi into and out of the centre.

Hotel close to public transport
The hotel manager was nice because my document was stuck in the safe they helped me get them back.
Breakfast great choice nothing to laugh at
As for cleanliness
I did 4 days no cleaning done during the stay very disappointing bathroom or toilet not cleaned
The TV cabinet very dirty with stains
The cleaning ladies do not do their job properly

Nice hotel, which would have the merit of being renovated in some places. The location is away from the city but is well served by public transport.
The cleanliness can be reviewed for the swimming pool which left a lot of deposits in the bottom of the water on the different pools, and in the steam showers.
Perhaps some joints to redo in the bathroom ... concerning the bedding, it was comfortable.
The breakfast was varied, with local dishes.

I loved my stay at this Hotel. Really good breakfast with plenty of choice and everything tasted delicious!
Room was big despite me staying in a classic room. Clean and tidy with great amenities like fridge, tea, coffee kettle, hairdryer, safe plus robe and slippers for the spa. Loved the spa with thermal pools, swimming pool, sauna, steamroom and chiquzzi. So relaxing Worth every penny and got So much more for my money
Location is terrific only 2 mins away to public transport.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Will definitely come here again.
Budapest beautiful place.
Also if you want to try local Hungarian restaurant..only 2mins away from Verdi Budapest Aquincum I highly suggest Csalánosi Csárda Óbuda. Delicious food!!

The rooms were a little dingy and some mould and stains on grout, true to what other reviewers mentioned. However, apart from wear and tear, the hotel has tried to keep it clean and serviceable. Overall, it felt well loved, but was clearly a shadow of its past glory. Needs some tlc and a lot of refurbishment. The gantry doesn’t work, so you must walk out to the gantry to meet your cab.
However staff were inordinately helpful and kind at the front desk. The breakfast was incredibly varied and delicious. Room was spacious - with every convenience, fridge, tv, iron. Only problem is no main heater in the bedroom - so it got chilly quite fast.
Anyway I would stay again next time when in Budapest, the location has good access to tram line and the staff are kind.
