I really love the hotel & the building. Location is great as next to the metro and just 6minutes walk to airport bus stop (100E) One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stay and the staff is really helpful. I highly recommend it.

The location is great! The rooms are good, the bathroom is a bit cramped, the sink is very small, there is no place to put cosmetics. The breakfasts are average. But because of the location you can turn a blind eye to all this

It is located in the center of Budapest, so it is very convenient to move around. The facilities are old and worn. The ceiling is very high, and the beds are one level above the floor, so it is a bit unusual.

The room is large and the price/performance ratio is high. In fact, the place is easy to find, not as hard to find as others said. The only problem is that there is a problem with the slope of the water in the shower. Once I take a shower, the entire bathroom is flooded.

It’s hard to think of such an excellent and unique hotel in the heart of Budapest

The sound insulation is poor. The neighbors are very noisy until three or four o'clock in the middle of the night, but the front desk doesn't deal with it, so I can't rest at all. Complained to Ctrip and got a full refund. Ctrip's customer service is very efficient in handling problems.

In general, a good hotel with everything you need and in a good area.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax. The location was also fantastic, with a metro station conveniently close by, making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety to start the day right. A special mention goes to the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Highly recommended!

Location was amazing, very close to everything. As we paid extra to have a room with Basilica view the view was very nice. We asked for a cleaning on our 2nd day, they changed the bedsheet but nothing else was cleaned apart from that and we were left without any toilet paper so we had to go and buy some for ourselves. Last day we were allowed to leave our bags at the reception after checking out so we could explore the city without dragging our luggage around - thanks for that again!!

Pleasantly surprised. Excellent location - across the cathedral, along the high end shops and restaurants. Affordable yet better than most luxury hotels. Stayed at different rooms - get room 215 if you want a view of the cathedral (can be noisy at night, but sunset over the cathdral from your bed!), 202/203 if you want a view of the trees (one has a balcony where the aircon is), avoid 208 inner courtyard but aircon wasn't working during my stay, electric fan was dirty so had to clean it just to get some air. Receptionists are helpful, especially Viktoria. You need a code to get into the building, the reception, and the rooms, but it's easy. Complimentary soap, lotion, slippers, and water (better than 4/5-star hotels). Provides amenities, and water. Will stay here again.

Great location, very central everything within about 30 mins. Staff extremely friendly. 5 mins walk from airport shuttle drop off Cleaners came in every day, bedding & towel change. Room was large and authentic, however fairly basic. Slight issues bed was 2 singles pushed together and 1 was slightly higher than the other, not ideal for couples. The walls are thin, and a very loud noise in the morning, maybe things being moved in the courtyard below? But not great if not a heavy sleeper as it woke us up quite early. Tip for the hotel; shower room wasn’t ideal as made the whole bathroom floor wet. Overall great for what we needed.

Booked for 4 nights. Had problems getting in but man on reception very helpful. Had booked a city view room with twin beds as I went with my sister. Was shown to a double room. Explained about booking was shown a twin room with really high step down/up to bathroom. We are both well into our sixties and have mobility problems. After our 4th trip the rickety lift we went back to our original room and given another room on the same floor. The next day we moved to a twin room which overlooked the courtyard and I presume was previously a store room!! Having resigned to the fact that we could not spend more time complaining we accepted. Half way through shower it went cold and we Alison had no heating. We complained and were told all the hot water had been used and we needed to give the boiler time to refill. We went out for the day and returned to a freezing room and no hot water. No one on reception so went down to the restaurant which is owned by the hotel. Poor waiter didn’t have a clue. We were due to attend a concert so had to leave. When we returned the night receptionist asked if everything was okay and we told him about our situation. He said each room has its own boiler so it must be broken 😡 He went to look at it and the fuse had blown which he fixed. We complained the next day to the Manager who refunded 2 nights. However our trip had been ruined and we will not return. The location is amazing and the man on reception at night time was very helpful the building is very quaint but not very clean.

Very good location and we have stayed here previously the staff are amazing as always. I do want to note that the shower curtain was a little dirty and the bed sheet stained with what looked like mascara or pen ink (The sheets still Obviously clean and ironed but stained) I also want to note that despite a great cleaning service by the maids and no negative comments . We do feel a £20 (English note) was accepted as a tip despite our knowledge. On this note please do be very wary of leaving any purses or valuables behind and use the provided safe. This was our error and due to our uncertainty we are not raising this as a complaint. Would definitely stay here again

The hotel is centrally located. The reception was very helpful too. Nice design. Some areas need renovation. There was a shower in our bathroom, but without a cabin, which was not comfortable to use. It is a bit loud as well, but generally the stay was okay.
