Our stay was amazing the hotel is amazing, beautiful, clean. The staff is welcoming, helpful all with a smile. The room is small but more than enough the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The food is vegetarian but nice and fresh. Thank you for amazing 5 days

Suite à une annulation de vol nous avions réservé une nuit dans cet hôtel du fait qu'ils avaient une piscine extérieure. Comme il faisait beau nous voulions en profiter. Les chambres sont belles et neuves. Les lits sont bons. Le personnel n'est pas encore au top. Il manque un peu de sourires quand même. La piscine n'ouvre qu'à 10 H du matin : incohérent ! Bizarre de recevoir une clé pour la chambre car cet hôtel est neuf : pas de carte. Peut-être un choix délibéré. Les repas sont végétariens... On avait pas vu lors de la réservation. Mais ce n'était pas grave. C'était bon.

My sister and I came here for the Kundalini retreat. The hotel is immaculate. Welcoming. Peaceful and wonderful. Pillows a little soft for our liking but clean rooms. Great hairdryer and amenities. Staff are all very friendly. Sauna and jacuzzi are perfect. The retreat itself was amazing. 4 days of eye opening yoga with the best teachers. Gabor, Ezther and Kinga. We would so highly recommend this retreat and hotel.

This is a really special hotel which provides an immersive experience into health and wellbeing, centred around kundalini yoga.
The environment within the hotel grounds has been very carefully put together to support getting the most out of the yoga, including the yoga dome and various rooms used for meditation and yoga, as well as the delicious vegetarian food served in the restaurant.
Yoga mats, blankets for relaxation and on tap healthy teas and various infused waters are available to support your comfort whilst exploring the yoga.
The sauna experiences in the evening were absolutely amazing, and really lifted the experience of the spa facilities (sauna, cold plunge pool and jacuzzi) to another level. I can't recommend enough joining in with one of these experiences if you're staying in the hotel.
The only slight downside for me was on the housekeeping service to the room. Teabags were not replaced unless you asked for new ones, a dirty cloth was left in my bathroom after cleaning one day, and the used cups in the room were not always cleaned. However these issues were all resolved by the hotel staff once raised.
Normafa park which is just outside of the hotel grounds is well worth exploring for the beautiful walks as well as the wonderful views of the city.

I travelled on my own to do the 4 day yoga retreat at Normafa, and I cannot fault the experience. The yoga programme was of a really high quality. I turned up knowing pretty much nothing about 'kundalini' yoga, and also not having had any other regular yoga practice before going - so I can vouch for the fact that this programme is suitable for complete beginners. Whilst physically demanding, you can choose how much to push yourself using the guidance given. The yoga dome was a wonderful location for the yoga classes, and all equipment (mats, blankets, cushions etc) are provided. The hotel is really well thought-through in its design, and the result is a really beautiful space. The spa and yoga areas in particular seem very new and modern - and done to a very high standard. I'm a big fan of saunas, and this one is exceptional - I'd even go so far as to say they have the best sauna I've experienced - and the sauna 'experience' events on Friday and Saturday evenings are really worthwhile paying extra to attend. The cold plunge pool next to the sauna was really properly cold too! Although there is no alcohol and the food is all vegetarian, it's really varied, tasty and enjoyable - and supports a deeper positive experience through the yoga retreat programme. The location is great - right next door to Normafa forest national park, which is a safe space to do some scenic walks and enjoy the amazing views from the hills over the city of Budapest. The whole experience was really life-changing for me and has set me on a new course in my own health and wellbeing - I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The normafa hotel retreat centre is amazing from the delicious food, buffet style, breakfast, lunch and dinner cleanliness, facilities such as sauna, pool, and jacuzzi, the yoga and nearby views Just outstanding, I didn't want to leave I was there for a 5 day kundalini yoga retreat, with fantastic teachers
