The hotel is quite standard. It seems to cooperate with tour groups. I saw tour buses parked at the door every day. Fortunately, it was not particularly crowded during the two nights I stayed! The room is relatively small, but for this price, the cost performance is still relatively high! The most commendable thing is that the front desk service attitude is very good

We chose Mercure Budapest Castle Hill because we are residents in Italy and have had many good experiences staying in Mercure and Novotel hotels across the country. We trusted the Accor brand and expected a professional, respectful service. Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing.
We experienced multiple, serious breaches of privacy during our stay. Despite having a “Do Not Disturb” sign and without any housekeeping request from us:
• At 8:20 AM, a housekeeper knocked briefly and then opened the door directly, while my wife was still sleeping inside.
• Later, at 9:30 AM, the same happened again — knock, then immediately entering.
• Around 10:40 AM, we were disturbed once more by unexpected knocking.
My wife is currently 5 months pregnant and needs sufficient rest, especially while traveling. She was woken up early and stressed due to the staff’s disregard for guest privacy. This is something we have never experienced in any Mercure hotel in Italy — such behavior would not be tolerated.
We request a formal explanation from Accor regarding the lack of respect for guest privacy and the unacceptable conduct of housekeeping at this property.

It doesnt seems like a 4 star hotel. It shared concierge with Ibis which im not aware while booking it. No mineral water provided. No other basic amenities provided like the toothpaste and toothbrush. Towels were too small. No iron in the room. Not enough security as anyone can go to your room using the main lift.
