Sandor is such a great and helpful host! The check-in process might be a little confusing for first-time travellers in Budapest—especially if you arrive after dark—so I highly recommend checking in during daylight hours. That said, Sandor is very responsive and available online to guide you if needed.
The apartment itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. As a Muslim traveller, it was such a gem to find a halal Turkish eatery nearby—huge bonus!
The location is also fantastic—just a short walk from Astoria M station. It felt safe, even at 3:00am when I was out waiting for the 100E airport bus. Lots of people around, and the area is lively but not overwhelming.

This apartment is located in the old town of Pest in Budapest, one of the oldest Jewish communities in Europe. It is within walking distance to the surrounding famous attractions. Take bus 100E from the airport to the apartment and walk another 400 meters to the apartment door. The person in charge of the apartment is very considerate. Once the order is confirmed, he will send you an email to tell you the check-in instructions and all the steps before arriving at the room. All instructional videos (YouTube links) must be watched carefully in advance. In addition, you need to download an online self-service check-in app Guestadvisor in advance, which is only suitable for Apple phones. The keys and door access control provided by the apartment manager are in a marked wall safe box (the manager will give it to you when you arrive at the apartment). Simply return the key to the safe when you check out.
