Great
AAnniAusVery comfortable hotel right at the canals. Very close to a major restaurant and club area so a bit loud in the evening but windows are well insulated. Comfortable bed and well maintained bathroom. Staff was friendly. There is a large parking garage next to the hotel and 24 hour parking, when paid at the hotel, is £18.
LLisaliangThe hotel is a very old building, somewhat like a B&B, with very old facilities. Old elevators and old room facilities. The rooms are larger, the beds are softer, and they are cleaner! Although the window is small, the bathroom is relatively large with a separate bathtub, shampoo and shower gel! There is a bar downstairs in the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly. Please note that the soundproofing in the hotel rooms is very poor. You can hear all the activities in the next room clearly. The noise in the bar at night is also very bad. Affect rest
AAsmiRuYha as always the best..we booked a 3 person room. The location is besides the harbour just in centre of all the hustle bustle as well as quietness! Only one downside the room that is separate than other dorm rooms is located on the top level. The heater or some pipe kept on making noise when ever the winds were strong or any flight went from above (I guess)
Positive side: the room comes with skylight..you are able to see stars and moon on a clear night..thus you can sleep glazing at the stars :)
GGuest UserLovely friendly hotel, after a delayed late flight this stay couldn’t have been more welcome.
Great breakfast with plenty of choice.
Room was incredible all that you could need was there.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Will definitely stay again.
GGuest UserWhen booking, I left a message asking for a single sofa bed, and I didn't expect that we would be upgraded to a suite for free.
Except that the toilet in the bathroom has a weak suction and needs to be flushed repeatedly. All other services are very satisfactory.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel was very convenient and had nice staff. The breakfast was also lovely.
The caravan was a fun experience but wouldn’t do again. The temperature control is difficult - either boiling or ice cold - also gets all the noise at night.
GGuest UserThe hotel is showing its age and badly in need of a refit. The hotel room was as clean as it could be considering the age of the fittings and furniture but the floor boards were loose and a sloping floor meant sleeping with my legs higher than my head. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was well cooked but the helpings were very small. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smaller sausage! All in all expensive considering what’s on offer.
GGuest UserConvenient transportation, there is a bus stop downstairs, and there is a Chinese restaurant ”Meet and Greet” next to it. You can walk to the University of Bristol, and it is a ten-minute walk from the city center. The breakfast is quite rich
GGuest UserThe room is large, clean and tidy, but not very soundproof. The bathroom and toilet are separated. The parking lot is also very large. No worries about parking. Breakfast is 6 pounds per person. It is cost-effective. The 24-hour front desk service is very good.
GGuest UserIt was a nice hotel on the whole, but the room had water/damp stains on the wall and could have been cleaned better (few hairs and dust etc). Staff were all very friendly and the facilities were average, as you would expect from a budget hotel.
