Situated about 5 mins walk from temple meads train station and as we where there for a gig in queens square which was only a 5 min walk away too this travel lodge was a great little place to find in this location. Very clean very basic but just what we needed.

there are major roadworks near the hotel so actually finding the hotel and car park is not easy, despite following the directions on the website and using Sat Nav and What 3 words. Hotel should know this and contact guests in advance about the roadworks. Luckily for us it was late on Sunday night so quite quiet on the road, compared to what it could be.

Asylum hotel on top floors smelly with illegals hanging around outside seems I pay to stay and pay for them as well don’t stay here

I had a wonderful solo stay here in August 2025. The hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The service was excellent, especially from Aleka at the reception — she was incredibly kind, helpful, and always had a warm smile. She made check-in smooth and even helped me with local recommendations. Her friendly attitude truly made me feel welcome and safe during my stay. The room was cozy and well-maintained, and everything worked perfectly. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Thank you Aleka and the team for such a great experience!

Very clean and fantastic staff, manager Nick is on in a million you do not find places with such good managers anymore, he was caring and very very funny , travelodge need to know how great he is. Room adequate clean tidy just the thing for a 2 day break
