The place was dirty and run down I stayed in the accessible room and have a service dog he is trained to stay on his own if I need 15 hrs but he’s by my side normally 23 hrs I went shopping left him for an hr or 2 on my return a member of staff started ranting at me about leaving my dog saying it was abuse and she had a dog and she found it disturbing and distressing if he barked I found it very uncomfortable rude ignorant behaviour dirty security think they own the place Shop about better places

Having stayed in a lot of hostels in many countries it does some things really well... The kitchen was brilliant with labels to use on items you placed in fridge, tea and coffee available and a comfortable seating area next door. However, there are some things that would cost very little and make a big difference. The shower room that I used I had no hooks or shelves which meant having to put my clean clothes on the floor, this is less than ideal on a wet floor. There are also no privacy curtains on the lower bunks which again I find strange. When we were shown the room there was no mention of where we would find a locker for valuables ( I ended up finding these later by chance) I had assumed these would be in the lounge. The bar below was a lot of fun Also pretty sure there is an issue with the electrics in the lounge area as one light fitting would intermittently flash on and off thought-out the evening, which seemed to be in time with the music. A few small changes could make this place epic

It is not a place for families. I shared a room with other girls, they were lovely. the room was ok, solid bunker beds with power points and bedside light. One thing I found hard was to put the bedding on the bed, but it was all clean. There is a bar on the ground floor, they close at 2am, so before that you can hear the noise, but nothing that would prevent people from sleeping. Lovely staff. Security were very nice to me, so I had no issues at all. Close to clubs and the coach station.
